Question about Monarchist USA (Hail Columbia)
With Hail Columbia mod, American IGs are even more protective of their republican government, making it more difficult to establish an American monarchy.
In the case that I manage to implement a monarchy (against all odds) as Emperor Norton (or any other monarchist leader), is there an event where the Republican traits of all IGs are removed?
How is 1.13.8 so far?
I might be a broken record at this point but is it worth to play a normal game in this patch right now? Or are there still gamebreaking problems? Is the AI still wonky, or can it be compared to 1.12 levels?
Fyodor Dostoyevsky's work is being critiqued by... Fyodor Dostoyevsky?
Are there any latest mods that make unconventional gameplay more fun?
The standard gameplay for Vic3 is to get out of serfdom/slavery, industrialize, liberalize, and improve SoL. Are there any mods that make unconventional gameplay more fun (i.e., slaverymaxxing,, traditionalist, crusader, ethnostate, etc.)? I really want to try these out.
Is it just me or my mods disappear on 1.19.0.5?
I didn't have any problems with my downloaded mods disappearing/auto-deleting until the current patch. How do I deal with this problem?
Btw, I manually download my mods so I can't verify using Steam.
An old gem from my phone

What is your favorite trap set by Doofenshmirtz for Perry the Platypus? (excluding Season 5)
You've gotta admire Dr. Doofenshmirtz' seemingly unlimited creativity in setting traps for his nemesis. What is your favorite trap throughout the Phineas and Ferb series?
Note: Pls. don't include anything from Season 5 since I don't want spoilers.
How is 1.13.5 so far?
To those who recently updated to the latest version of V3, how are your campaigns so far? Is the AI still brain dead? I mean aside from the authority plummeting after the political concessions nerf for those continuing from the previous patch. Is the game worth playing rn?
Qing is too stable and prosperous in this patch
I've noticed in my gameplay as Russia is that Qing never manages to implode, even in the 1900s. Taiping and other rebellions that happened in OTL are rare. Even they manage to withstand the Opium Wars against GB. Also, the corruption issues that the Qing Empire suffered even before the Opium Wars started are virtually nonexistent.
Moreover, Qing manages to comeback and overwhelm my armies with sheer numbers although they're still dominated by Confucian Scholar-Bureaucrats (i.e., Landowners) and they never manage to industrialize or open their market to foreigners.
When Alexander II ascends to the Russian throne after the hated Nikolai I dies, there is a JE regarding the reforms initiated by the former. I can't help but wonder why the Peasant Reform entry specifically needs Tenant Farmers instead of simply not having Serfdom. One of the main complaints regarding Russia's "backwardness" is they still have serfdom as an institution. So when I pass Homesteading (thereby making peasants own their land), it should count as "liberating" the serfs, alright?
It frustrates me to no end after having enacted Homesteading (straight from Serfdom) that I need to tie up my peasants to the land and the Landowners once again.
I am playing Victoria 3 on 1.12.5 and I play frequently as Sweden, Belgium, USA and Russia. As of the most recent patches (whether 1.12 or 1.13), which nations do you like to play as? Which countries other than mentioned are worth playing as? Exclude the Iberian countries and Japan since they're the star countries of these respective patches.
