Hotdogs from grab n go

I don’t have terribly high expectations for ballpark hotdogs, but at least it would be nice if they were warm. The last 2x they haven’t even been room temp. First world problem for sure, but heat up the dang dogs.

The lights came on during Spider-Man

We went to Spider-Man last night. They randomly turned the theater lights on about 20 minutes before the end of the movi was the peak of the action, so I didn't want to leave the theate V tell them, but it kind of ruined it. They did turn them back off about 10 mins later, so the very end was in the dark, but come on.

It's a first world problem, but kind of a bummer.

Withings BodyScan2

I got the new BodyScan2 for the cardio health. When I went to set it up, it told me it couldn’t setup ECG because it was “too noisy” in my environment. Ok, no problem. I figured I’d set it up the next day. Nope. No option for that. So I contacted them and they couldn’t answer me. They said they’d review it and email me. So I wait a week and hear nothing. I contact them again and opted to do so via email and they told me “ECG is not available in your area.”

So, I’m in Minnesota. I asked them why it would exclude specific states, and what areas it’s available in. (No answer, of course) Anyway, does anyone know why ECG would not be available in my area. Seems like an odd thing. Anyway, I’m debating returning it since the features I bought it for don’t work.

Natural Alexandrite

1.04 carat oval Brazilian Alexandrite. She might not be “big” by the standards in here, but alexandrite is such a cool stone, and a natural over a carat is fairly large, especially with a good color change. I figured I’d share. (Ignore my dry hands. It was winter when I took most of the pics)

Greenish blue in sunlight. Pinkish purple in candlelight. A mix of the two in mixed light.

Thank you to the kind woman with the cooling towel!

I just wanted to say thank you to the human angel who passed me a cooling towel when I was under the tent with the fans and laid down. I wasn’t doing well with the heat on Friday and it must’ve shown. That cooling towel saved me. I laid there with it cooling off and when I got up to give it back, she was gone.

The kindness of that restored some faith in humanity. You’re very much appreciated. ❤️
