Footlong $9.99, 6 inch $7.79…WTF?

In Canada the footlong Tuna is one of the under $10 promotions but I’ve recently stepped back to only ordering a 6” vs a footlong and was kinda pissed to find out that I might as well order a footlong for $2 more. Problem is I have nowhere to keep it given the nature of my job and it would be crappy and soggy by the time I’d get to it the next day anyways.

Why can’t subway be more reasonable with this shit? Gouging on 6” subs is not customer friendly.

“5 footlongs for under $10 each” = All over $10 each. 🫤

Subway Canada has a whole section in the app advertising “5 footlongs for under $10 each!” except when you actually select them not a single one ends up being under $10.

Nice job, subway.

This chip truck that yells “POUTINE!” yet uses shredded mozzarella vs curds.

Enough said. No curds, NOT POUTINE.

Campbellford Ontario - 5 bars. ZERO SERVICE

This has been happening for years. There’s a few other small towns the same way, but Campbellford is somewhere I go often enough to experience this EVERY TIME. Literally 5 bars of service but nothing with load. Speed test times out. The only way to get service is to go into cellular settings and change to a different Nationwide carrier. Basically whatever one it seems to lock onto natively is completely blocking Freedom.

Anyone else experience anything similar in any other small towns? This is infuriating to see 5 bars but not even be able to get your email

1 month for delivery, ugh.

I was supposed to receive my rental hardware this week based on my original order date of May 10’th, now I just received this email. Ugh!

Another “WTF happened to the chicken strips” post.

Saw another post on the topic here just now and it made me remember that I snapped this photo a week or so back when I was equally disappointed in the “new” chicken strip combo.

The package seems to have got smaller, the strips got smaller, and the amount of fries was honestly laughable - there was barely enough to even cover the bottom of the container. What the heck, they are french fries, potatoes are cheap, if they are going to cut the portion size on the chicken at least I have the decency to fill the gap with some additional fries.

What a disappointment now.

Signed up at $39 4/month promotion, I haven’t even received a shipping notification yet for my hardware, and already got a price increase and the promotion is apparently cancelled. WTF?

Starlink Canada. They have been furiously advertising $39/$49 for four months introductory promotion, I signed up coming up on two weeks ago, haven’t received as much as a shipping notification yet much less my actual hardware, and today I get this.

WTF.

Here in Canada at least it may actually be against the law to yank back promotional pricing after signup, so I will be looking into it.
