Bulk of the main is done, more plants to go in and rocks inside.

The outer rocks on the lower part of the second picture need reworking but overall I think its looking good.

If you are wondering why so much soil at the side, there was raised beds either side of the tree as needs seeding.

No fish, a wildlife pond, some of the frogs have already taken residence having moved over from my other small established pond (photo 4)

EIREWAVE

So recently in Northern Ireland, Planet Rock, Absolute 80s and Absolute 90s disappeared off my DAB (and probably some others i wasn't aware of).

Strangely Abs 00s and Abs 10s are on there which i imagine have almost miniscule listeners compared to 80s and 90s.

Anyway while i was saving some new favourites I came across EIREWAVE.
Its rock and pop, but plays far more obscure tracks than the likes of Absolute, Great Hits etc.
But it doesn't have any adverts, or DJ talk. Its just track after track back to back. I'm confused as to how it can function like that without advertisement?

InsectOrgyPorn

Never seen these guys not mounting a mate.

Common red solider beetle, their larvae eat slugs, snails and aphids so one of the most beneficial bugs in European gardens. The adults however seem to just spend two months like this.

UK - Same flavour, what's the point?

I don't really see the point of this. Both products are produced by Walkers (although the Cheetos licence through Lays must be that they aren't branded as Walkers - no mention of their name any where but they do have the same Leicester and Dublin addresses)

They are both a corn snack that are "Sweet & Spicy Flamin' Hot" flavour.

Taste wise they are the same but I found Monster Munch slightly hotter.

In terms of bite the monster munch have more crunch, they stick to the teeth, tongue and roof of mouth less and are far more enjoyable eat.

The Cheetos thing is a bit of mystery to me in UK. Yes they are a cultural phenomenon in the US and Europe and have a distinctive mascot Chester and are the leading cheese puff brand in the world.

But Walkers previously tried to introduce them in the late 90s to take on the UK leading cheese puff brand Wotsits by Golden Wonder. It was a disaster and soon abandoned. Walkers eventually bought Wotsits from their struggling rival in 2002.

Then in 2015 Cheetos returned. With a Cheesy

product virtually the same as Wotsits and a Flamin' Hot virtually the same as Monster Munch it seems a bit pointless.

Building control - house sale

Looking to sell house, last year i had a french doors put in a room. This involved cutting out of external brick wall, lintel installed and doors put in along with raised step outside to meet requirements.

Stupidly. No building control application was submitted, what are my best options?

Admit it, ho with a retrospective submission and hope they dont demand a drastic changes or restoration.

Or just make it clear to buyers that i will cover indemnity insurance?

Albino

At a sanctuary in North West Ireland.

It was really overcast with heavy rain and the enclosure is heavily planted with trees and shrubs, and this poor wee guy still was struggling to open his eyes in the light.

Had a good bond with its siblings

Premier Division 2026 attendances halfway point

2026 attendances at the half way point. Note that Galway's fixture against Shelbourne isn't until August, but all other clubs have now played all the other sides in 9 home ties.

Division currently 282 up on last season, but this should reduce as usual by the end of the season. I suspect we might have a slight decrease on the previous year but it will be tight.

Atalanta U23 Serie C Group C placement

Why aren't Atalanta's U23 in Group A with the rest of the Northern teams? Theres like 11 Lombardy sides in Group A. Even Group B would make more sense that C.
