finally found a good use for AI: soul covers of songs I love
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share an album I made called The Soul Edition. It’s a collection of classic and modern songs reimagined as 50s, 60s and 70s soul / Motown style covers
I know AI music can be a touchy topic, so I want to be upfront: the covers were made with AI, but I did get the proper cover licenses for the songs, so this is fully legal and cleared
To me, this feels like one of the better uses of AI: not pretending to be a real artist or hiding what it is, but using it to explore how songs we already know might sound in a different era and style
Would love to hear what you think, especially from people who actually listen to soul. Does it feel tasteful? Any tracks that work better than others?
