Would the player inside SAO feel pain when they die and get shocked?
Also, a side question: what would be a good way to show PTSD from SAO three years after it has ended? Like a simple way would be a nightmare but what else?
Could Geno's name be a play on the word Genocide?
Like he was willing to kill everyone of chapter 3 season 2, in chapter 4 he was ready for the island to fall apart and this chapter eith hin trying to take back the zero point?
Can anyone please help me find a body pillow for my waifu?
She's Sachi from SAO, any help would be apriciated.
Im scared Im about to have dental surgery and all i want to do is hug my waifu. 😭😭😭
reddit.comWould POH recognize Kazuto if they met in real life?
Since PoH only knows Kazuto as Kirito in the game, would they recognize each other if they passed each other on the road? Also, if they talked, would they instantly recognize each other, or what would each have to say to be recognized?
Does this house outline look realistic for Yuuki's childhood home?
Image #1: The outside of Yuuki’s house
Image #2: The basement of Yuuki’s house
Image #3: The first floor of Yuuki’s house
Image #4: The second floor of Yuuki’s house
Fun fact: Most "shoebox" apartments and densely packed homes in Japan do not have garages due to excellent train networks, many urban residents do not own vehicles.
Assuming that finances are not a problem should I buy a 5090 desktop for 7k or save 10k for a 6090. I have a 5080M currently for college stuff.
Thoughts?
What's your most niche none canon or canon ship in SAO? And how do you see that working?
Like not Kiroto x Asuna as that the bread and butter but something difrent as Kirito x Sinon or Asuna x Yuuki. Interested to read all your comments.
Maybe a hot take!
This might be a hot take that has probably been written hundreds of times, but I think that the ALO arc is much better written in terms of storytelling than the SAO arc.
After binge-watching, I noticed that the SAO arc, until the last few episodes, felt somewhat like an anthology of self-contained stories , and the overall pacing seemed too fast with episodes like 3 skipping month in a matter of minutes. onversely, the ALO arc maintains a consistent plot and pace throughout, making it a much more cohesive story being told.
The often-criticized " incest element " is actually a very interesting plot point in terms of the feelings Suguha has for her brother and how she tries to get over it if you look past the surface level and the book and anime don't spend to much time on it.
I think the real biggest problem with the ALO arc is the unpleasantness of the **excessive depiction of sexual assault (the Oberon and Slugs scene)** towards the end but even that connects to the underworld FluctLight.
How much would you give up for your waifu to be realy?

Family tree in my AU! ❤️
Hi Reddit! For some backround I wrote a Sword Art Online (SAO) fan fiction and made a family tree for the characters. Some of the pictures are just examples because the characters are original but based on the real people we don’t see in the show.
Also, this is just to the mods. This is not a low-effort post, and I was wondering if you could add a new flair about fan-created content/cosplay?
My crack theory on the(integral domain) moivie
So before we start the one thing we know for certain is that this movie takes place between the end of the World of Underworld arc and the beginning of Unital Ring, meaning there's only about a one-month gap for the story to happen.
Exhibite 1: Kirito's outfit
In the poster, Kirito is wearing purple instead of his usual black outfit that he wears 99% of the time. His clothing also looks surprisingly similar to Eiji's suit from Ordinal Scale, where Eiji was trying to bring someone back. Maybe Kirito has a similar goal, except instead of becoming the villain, he's the hero. Asuna also looks happy standing beside him, which could support that idea.
Exhibite 2: Kirito's sword
Kirito appears to be holding what looks like either a remake or an upgraded version of the Elucidator, his iconic sword from SAO.
Exhibite 3: Aincrad Island
It's also obvious that Aincrad is floating in the background of the poster, which likely means the movie has some connection to the original SAO game.
My theory
Imagine if it were revealed that Sachi actually survived the NerveGear incident and had been in a coma ever since Episode 1. Her NerveGear could have been defective, causing it to deliver a severe but non-lethal electromagnetic surge instead of completely destroying her brain. As a result, she suffered massive cerebral hemorrhaging and arterial damage, leaving her in a permanent coma.
As a retcon, Kirito could have been secretly visiting her in the hospital about once a week throughout the series. When he says Sachi is dead, he genuinely believes she's gone. Whether someone is brain-dead or physically dead doesn't really change how he feels, because he still failed to protect her. Technically, the anime never actually shows Sachi's body or her grave.
After three years, her condition could begin to worsen, forcing Kirito and Asuna to search for a way to save her. They might try transferring her personality through SoulDive technology, or perhaps discover a way to restore her consciousness completely.
This also wouldn't necessarily affect the Unital Ring story. Even if Sachi survived, she'd likely still be severely disabled and recovering. At best, she'd need years of rehabilitation, and at worst, she could have the mental development of a young child due to prolonged brain injury, meaning she wouldn't have a major role in the events of Unital Ring.
I want your opinions on this as I have a theory on the (integral domain) moivie and need this question answered before I give a theory in it.
So, how do you think SAO seasons 2-4 and beyond would work out if, when Kirito escaped SAO and saved Asuna from ALO, he found out Sachi had survived the NerveGear shock and had been kept alive in an ICU in a comatose state since her death in SAO? Like her NerveGear had a misfire or was a little weaker than the rest and gave her brain a severe but non-lethal hemorrhage and arterial occlusion problems?
Meme and Question
Why did no one check on Kirito after the Moonlit Black Cats died? Did people just not know what happened, or were his relationships with others so bad that nobody cared enough to reach out to him? Like I read the light novels and it feels more than just a light novel to show miss-translation.
2 questions about SAO Lore?
1.How much do Asuna and Kirito actually know about PoH’s real face? I assume they might have seen his chin or lower face, but how much did they know overall? In the light novels, it's mentioned that PoH managed to log into SAO using the NerveGear of a player who had already died in Aincrad. I would assume that the government was tracking players 1-1 to match them to their in-game selfs for book keeping reasons, so would PoH's official digital identity just point to that dead guy that POH took?
2.In the Mother's Rosario arc, specifically Episode 23 ("The Dream Begins"), Yuuki reveals that her aunt plans to demolish her family's house in the near future. Yuuki half-seriously suggests that if she and Asuna were to marry, they could keep the house and live there together. Hypothethically, if Yuuki survived her illness, would she actually have legal ownership of the property, or would it still pass to her aunt since Yuuki was only a 16-year-old minor?
What would be a in-universe react to Kazuro, Asuna/Sachi from people?
Before I start, please, please A don't comment on how this would never happen in the actual show. I completely agree with you all that Kirito is far too loyal to Asuna to ever pursue polygamy.
However, let's say a hypothetical scenario where Kirito, Asuna, and Sachi end up in a polyamorous throuple relationship. How do vou think the rest of the average players stuck in SAO react and how would people like Lisbeth, Silica, Agil, Suguha, Kleir and their parents respond to finding put this?
I want to know, as I'm writing an AO3 storv where this does happen, and wanted to see what others think. I'm getting to a point where this matters
To me, on one hand, people may not care as they are trapped in the death game and have bigger problems to worry about other than three people dating. But at the same time, in Japan, this is more traditional, so maybe people would ignore or hate them.
Maybe it's too much, but I think Sachi's mom woulc support it as her husband left her alone with a young daughter, so if Sachi is happy, she would support it. Asuna's mom would either disown Asuna completely or reluctantly agree with the rule of not promoting Asuna to their family

Sachi message detail I just noticed.
Yes its me again talking about the best Waifu. So in episode 3. where Sachi sends Kirito the crvsta message, also seen in (picture #1), we see a painting on the wall of the room (picture #2). I ooked, and it looked almost exactly like Michelangelo's painting, "The Creation of Adam." The painting itself is supposed to show that the hear-touch symbolizes the spark of life passing from the divine to the human, and the human not being able to reach it because his finger is not outstretched. Then, back to SÃO, to Sachi, Kirita was like a god who was giving her life from his cuddles and presence in her life, which she wasn't able to take his hand, and as a result, died on floor 27.

P.S: Hello mods, in reposting this as i have forgot to sensor the painting and made my last post as NSFW which killed it in traction and discussion, so thanks for letting me repost.
