Is there a way to do/access the training courses from home?
Even if I cant get credit for them by doing them at home since it would be off the clock, is there at least a way to see them and review the material at home?

I hate the feeling of jeans on me, but according to the dress code we are also allowed to wear black work pants if they are khaki material. I was wondering if Chinos were the same as khakis and what kind of pants you guys wear/what store you got them at. Thanks in advance!

I just got promoted to being a PSM, after actually only working at autozone for like 3 weeks lol. I know they definitely needed more managers and I guess they thought I learned very quickly and I do have like a decade of retail experience under my belt. I was wondering if you guys have any general advice for a new PSM though, especially what you recommend i focus on learning other than the manager training I'll get. Any advice is much appreciated!

Hi, im a newer autozone employee and while ive managed to learn a lot about car parts and which parts that z net recommendations tend to be wrong about, Im still confused about windshield wiper blades. Ive had a couple different coworkers try to explain to me how you can tell the difference between whether a customers car need j hook wiper blades or something different and how to tell which of our blades go with what, but i still cant understand it. Tbf my coworkers kinda rushed through it super quickly.
Would any of you guys mind giving me a run down explaining this?

Hi,
Im looking for some side hustle ideas that involve crafting/some making something by hand, that isnt spoken about lot. Im okay with it being something where id have to take some time to learn the skill and Im also okay with it not making a TON of money, just an idea where there's some sort of demand.
Thanks!
I've been a backpack enthusiast for a few years now and ive bought a couple nice backpacks (Osprey and Able Carry Max EDC). Both those backpacks have been pretty good about not having pet hair stuck to them but im in the market for getting another backpack and I was curious about which fabrics I should stay away from and which fabrics have been the best at being kept clean.
EVERY SINGLE FREAKING MONTH WHEN I NEED TO PICKUP MY MEDS I AM ONLY ALLOWED TO PICK THEM UP THE DAY I AM SUPPOSED TO START TAKING THEM, INSTEAD OF LITERALLY ONE DAY BEFORE SO I CAN TAKE MY MEDS FOR WORK.
Like, literally ive been told that if I pick them up a day or two ahead of time too many times, the system will flag me for it. Like, excuse me but I have a freaking job and my pharmacy (a large chain pharmacy so not even some small store w unique hours) doesnt open until 9am. And my meds usually arent resdy to be picked up until 11a or later. Like, am I supposed to just not be able to take my meds for a day each month???? And that's literally even only if I dont have stuff to do after work that prevents me from picking my meds up that day!. And in my state at least, you cant have my kind of meds delivered.
The system is so screwed. Anyone else feel that way?
So, I have a bunch of old clothes that I jad trouble selling as is, but I was wondering if I could sell the fabric from the clothes if I cut the fabric into usable pieces. The large chain store that many people near me used to by their fabric from closed a couple years ago, and the Walmarts near me don't sell fabric anymore. Do you think my idea could work? Mostly for people who use fabric to make smaller items?
So im a closer (CSR) at my store and my manager has us closers count all the cigarette packs and cartons at night and write the number of them on each shelf down on a piece of paper.
When I first started working here I did do that properly, but as our store got busier during the summer and as I work solo shifts, ive started to just guesstimate the number of cigarettes we have instead of actually counting them to save time. When i was doing this properly, it took me like 25-30 mins to do this if I wasn't interrupted by customers, which i usually was so it would normally take me around 40-45 minutes to complete this task. It took other coworkers around that same amount of time.
Has anyone else done this? Idc if I get fired over it because our store is a dumpster fire and im looking for another job atm. But, how big of a no no is this?
So I work at a gas station/convenience store whose company's name may look similiar to Kircle K. And I really need some help here.
So, Im primarily a closer at my store and the only person on my shifts except for maybe an overlap with mid shift for the first hour. Our store locks the doors at 10p and we use a window to help customers until 12a when our store officially closes. My shift starts anywhere between 4p-7p until 12:30a where we HAVE to be completely out of the store with our drawer count done, clocked off and the store alarm set.
My dilemma is that most of the closing tasks cant be done until 10p/we arent allowed to do them until after 10p, which only gives me 2 hours to: put out bakery, count/shutdown lottery, count cigarettes, sweep/mop, do dishes from bakery, replace polar pops bibs that need replaced, redo inside trash for 1st shift, stock/clean coffee bars, polar pops area and roller grill area. And even on slower nights, I still get 5-7 customers at the window, interrupting me doing tasks.
Lately management has been cracking down on us not getting everything done, even though ive really tried including me shutting down roller grill and putting out bakery earlier than really allowed, but there are some nights where I haven't been able to sweep and mop.
Do any other closers or managers out there have some tips for me? Even if its like a tip on how to count cigarettes faster?
