AIPAC is a front for the military industrial complex

AIPAC wants people in power that will give Israel aid in the form of weapons. There appears to be no other form of aid that AIPAC expects it's backed candidates to push for. It stands to reason that the weapons companies (hardware and software) that benefit from these subsidized aid deals are the real beneficiaries. It feels like AIPAC is a front for weapon sellers and the military industrial complex.

Why don't companies make sure AI can actually do the job of a human before mass layoffs?

News today said "Ford rehires more than 300 veteran human engineers after it says AI failed to deliver the same level of expertise" and I don't understand why they fired people without first seeing AI do their job? Like you pay so much for the AI, the sales team of the AI company says their AI can do the job of humans, and ... you just take their word for it and fire everyone? Isn't this stupid?

Control Resonant 9th @ Steam's top-sellers [Sep-Dec 2026 upcoming releases]

Link here and only filters are the competitive September 2026 month going to December 2026 releases. Yes, the game above it is also about >!resonance!<.

Sharing this because my previous post had some saying the game was ranked 600+ on best sellers, while said list includes free games and old games - not a fair comparison IMO.

Comparing direct category (Action, RPG, Mature) is valid and even more so to see which of the September 2026 releases is being purchased.

If only we had this data for console stores.

Control Resonant is 32nd in Steam's wish list rankings

The game's ranking by categorical filter:

  • single player: 21st
  • RPG: 15th
  • story rich: 13th
  • lore-rich: 3rd

Of course, wish list pre-ordered.

When you combine these four above categories and then search,

  • The God Slayer is 6th
  • Control Resonant is 2nd
  • Phantom Blade Zero is 1st

The writers deserve credit for how their world building influences drive.

[From] How are some townspeople still overweight or obese?

The show establishes that people have been there for months and years, that food is scarce, that everyone is living off the land. There's no sugary snacks and such. There's only physical labor work in the town. What's the in-show reason for some people (most supporting cast and extra's) not losing weight and still being obese?

Bullet is so much fun, no one has an OP anime move-set like her

The way "Hard Kill Bringer" is choreographed makes it seem like everyone is facing off against a metahuman. You get grabbed, dragged across the floor, exploded into, and blown up. Later this becomes a full on cannon in your face. I melted Susanoo with grabs and the OP HKB's. This is visually, IMO, the coolest looking move in the game.

[Theory] Starting to think the antagonist is The Board

Especially at the end of The Foundation DLC, Jesse is distrusting of The Board.

Since the game is set seven years after, could it be The Board benefited from the Nail corruption to allow a Resonance to infect the planet, strengthening their need for <Worship/Reverence> as the solution providers.

This resonance appears to be time oriented - capable of freezing anything, reversing it, impacting gravity as well. Sounds like a sentient Blackhole if you ask me.

I think when Jesse plunges The Aberrant into Dylan, she does so using her full powers in order to wake him up and bind the weapon to Dylan.

Either that, or in doing so she was split into another reality. Maybe the siblings are too powerful to exist in the same reality at the same time.

When it comes time to save the world, the player will have to choose which lives and which dies/merges to become Polaris/Board.

Does this mean Resonant is coming November 2026?

Jean-Charles Gaudechon, Remedy’s recently appointed CEO, says GTA 6’s massive November launch could “raise the tide” for the whole industry. He argues the game’s spotlight might drive console sales and keep players engaged beyond its campaign, creating a larger active audience for other releases like Control Resonant.
