What deregulation are you in favour of?

Always talk of adding regulation, rarely talk of taking it away, so I ask, what deregulation are you in favour of?

For me, planning reform as a whole, but specific shout-out to the terrible second staircase rule that was introduced post-Grenfell. Sunday Trading Hours can go as well.

Why don't we ever talk about the economy/economic policy?

I feel like the party has forgotten 'it's the economy stupid' which is more to explain for the various populist surges than migration in most instances, and yet, we're basically silent on it.

Beyond pointlessly setting up a random department in Birmingham and a fuel duty cut (very bizarre tax cut to focus on), we are basically silent on the economy.

What is your preferred form of devolution and how far would you take it?

Do you like the Mayoral model that we increasingly have in England? Do you like the national parliaments in Scotland and Wales? What powers should be devolved?

Would you support the introduction of a congestion charge in Leeds?

The evidence points very strongly to congestion charges being a successful health intervention, whilst also bringing in revenue for the city. People are annoyed at the data centre due to the environmental impacts, but cars have a far bigger impact and also make urban spaces in the city worse.

With that in mind, would you support the introduction of a congestion charge in Leeds? Geography to be defined, but inside the ring road could be the place to start.

Where can I sell a car in Leeds?

Used to use my car for work, but no longer need it. Unsure where I can get rid of it. I'm aware of We Buy Any Car, but I have heard they will often drop the price massively when you're there. Car is probably worth somewhere between 1.2k-1.5k from looking on Auto Trader. I'm not sure I can be bothered with the hassle of Auto Trader and private buyers though. Do you know of any places where I can sell a car without the hassle of private buyers? I know it'll lead to me getting a bit less!

Considering buying a MacBook Pro 16gb RAM, 512GB, would it be enough?

John Lewis in the UK is selling MacBook Pros for cheaper than the Air currently. Would 16GB RAM and 512GB be enough for video editing?

I would be making videos in a similar style to Wendover Productions (primarily stock footage with animations).

I might also play World of Warcraft.

Would this be enough machine for those use cases?

What is the A and R in STAR looking for?

Applying for policy/strategy roles in the civil service (SEO & G7) and trying to better understand what type of content to put forward for the A and R parts of STAR.

For A - is it primarily focussed on why you did something e.g. I tailored my presentation because it was for a technical and non-technical audience. Or is it more I tailored my presentation. I presented. I then did X.

For R - are they just looking for something quantifiable? Or could the R just be a report you authored for example?

At the minute, I'm scoring 3s on my applications and looking to get those numbers up. So, what advice would you give for the A and R parts of STAR?

How long to get used to new shoes?

Been running in New Balance 1080 v15s, but recently picked up a pair of Saucony Hurricane 25 and the Endorphin Speed 5 as I wanted to have different shoes for speed sessions and my longer/slower runs.

The NB feels great when I run. The same cannot be said for the Saucony's however. Both have less than 25km on them because every time I run in them, I get aches or pains (more so from the Endorphin Speed 5s rather than the Hurricanes).

The pain/aches are on the arch of my foot, just before the ball of my foot (hurricanes have caused me some knee aches). Is this just a breaking in period/getting used to different shoes? All the shoes feel alright fit wise, but whenever I try the Saucony's, my feet tell me they are not alright. Any advice/recommendations are appreciated.
