Why does the qura'an use the term blind

In the modren day, calling someone blind as to indicate a lack of intelligence is ableist.

However, It is common to find verses where blind is used to mean rejecting the truth.

So, why does the qura'an use it?

Is it something about arabic or what.

No, I'm being sincere. 😐

Please don't write lengthy posts

Some people tend to write long paraghraphs which might be hard to read because they are too long.

A practical solution is to break it down to smaller paragraphs

Why do malikis seem different?

I am a maliki

I live in a country that follows the maliki school of thought. From what I know, Malikis consider Drawing faces to be permissible.

However what confuses me is why? Why do they allow it while all other three forbidd it? It's not only about drawing, but also a dog's salivia is considered pure in maliki.

Does anyone know why? Why do they do this? I personally never drew a human face rather stuff like stick men which is what I believe is okay.

There are probably more things, but IDK.

Children are cool, but why is it fatiguing

I (14M) most likely have ADHD, ASD, and OCD. However, I am unable to acquire a diagnosis in the moment. So four years ago, my youngest cousin was born. He is cool, funny and a beautiful child. However, I feel that I have to admit that he can be tiring. Ever since last year or the year before it, he started using phones. He also sometimes uses mine and it feels painfully vapid to watch him play while I have nothing. I mean I am a potentially disabled 14yr old, I am not supposed to be the provider of care. Also please don't blame either or both of his parents, as they also are hard-working and can feel fatigue and they think that I am his friend, yes I am, but it is tiring. Please remain respectful, if you are willing to backbite about his parents then don't comment.

Also I suspected that my cousin may also have a disorder, but I have no clue.

There are not enough ressources concerning NPD and ASPD. What are

N.P.D stands for Narcisstic Personality Disorder.

A.S.P.D stands for Anti-Social Personality Disorder.

I am confused on the islamic stance on those two disorders since they are heavily stigmatised.

I know that kibr(arrogance) is a very bad sin and that oppression(zulm) is also a very bad sin.

However what about those whose minds are disordered?

I wish that there were more yielding discussions about either or both NPD and ASPD

I don't know if scholars know about them beyond the definition of anti-social and narcissism

I have OCD and I've been wondering about this all day(figuratively). I don't know if this sound absurd

I have OCD. This might sound absurd, weird, too specific, odd etc.., but bear with me. I am not a troll nor joking nor frolicking

I was caught in a loop where I don't know the answer. The matter sounds silly, but I don't if it is. I was wondering would it be haram to write two characters, of opposite sex as friends, but with a catch. It'a not even humans, it's well a bunch of cartoon characters(?) Like Anais, elmo, Gumball, Fluttershy etc... especially since I don't write about attraction or anything. It doesn't exist in my universe. I decanonise whatever attraction any character has. No character has any attraction nor feels attraction since it doesn't exist. Now the reason I was spinning around in circle and not being able to answer is that Idk probably I lacked certainity

I am also in a panic because of this. I need to check, but I fear that every source is unreliable

The impossible can become possible

Hello, everyone.

I know that there are a lot of people who are frustrated because their du'a hasn't been "answered"

Some brothern even have lost hope or are strating to. However, I wanted to share my story today

It is not complex, rather simple. I remembee a couple of days ago maybe two or three, I made a du'a asking god to make the weathee cooler. Guess what? It did happen.

This country has had a terribly hot weather lately so on paper, this happening under 24h(prob) seems absurd, unrealistic or even wishful

However, it is not the case. It just happened. While it may seem small, remember that humans cannot control the weather.

Therefore, it is important to remember that Allah can, and is the only one, capable of making the impossible possible

Are countryballs haram

Countryballs are balls with flags and eyes; the eyes don't have pupils they're just white, they don't have neityer mouths nor hands.

Please keep the discussion civil

Does anyone else want to see a halal object show

I used to be a fan of BFDI, but recently I have left because the show has many haram stuff that I discovered. Anyway, I really wish that there was an objecy show made by a muslim

Now please, don't get me wrong and think that I want to promote liberalism as some people think of me. I just want something halal to watch without being worried

If anyone wants, I can help with that. However, I only work with males because I am a male

I also don't write cohesive rather the raw ideas like the picture above

For Neurodivergent muslims, what are traits that come across as immitation of the opposite sex

I don't suport immitating the opposite sex. However, I've noticed that neurodivergent traits may come off as immitation.

I don't want to cause people to be accepting of immitation, I just want to find out if anyone has them.

For example, toe-walking many autistic people walk on their toes. In some countries, people mah see it as immitating women for example

I mostly made this as to show that what people call immitation might just be an autistic trait or an ADHD or any thing of that sort

All I want is for ND muslims to state their story. This way, people would learn that not everything they see has a malicious intent. What people label immitation can just be the result of neurodivergence this what I wanted to be understood

Why don't people talk about tabarujj for men?

Tabarujj is not the correct term, but it is still a sin and a serious matter regardless

Also I am a male

Before you comment, please just understand that I am bringing light to an issue that is barely talked about. I am not a feminist nor am I a zionist. I am just addressing a problem that plagues both sexes. I rarely see people talk about how men don't cover their awrah and I think it's an issue especially where I live (I was born here)

I made a new TikTok account and I am upset. They keep recommanding women and men. I hate that. What I also hate is the lack of anything related to condeming men exposing their awarah. Like I never see someone complain about it. The problem is that it is prevalant in my country and it upsets my Autism and OCD

It can trigger my OCD and Sensory disgust. And I wonder why is it always women? Why not talk about men? Why even show your body... I don't understand and this frustrates me

But, I'll assume that they are forced to...

Does this apply to fictional robots?

Context: I have OCD

I wanted to make my fiction halal. I basically thought that by making the characters just advanced robots that were built by the goverment as to replace its population

The robots were based on real people from the story, this allows me to make robots who are genderless on a technicality level friends without worrying about them being of different sexes/ages on the ID card

Now, I am scared that I am like ashab al-sabt, because this is a technacality. However, a lot of scholars do that like Assim al-hakim, he considered photographt to be okay since it is not creation by hand but like that of a mirror. He is a good guy and he doesn't do that as to satisfiy his whimps.

So I am indeed confused and I want to seek an answer.

TL;DR:

The characters are robots yet they are assigned genders. I am scared that allowing female and male characters to interact would be haram. This is because it is running on technicalities, akin to the people of saturday. Yet scholars do it
