What kpop group do you think changed there concept and what’s your opinion on it
(This can be a group’s newer concept that you liked more than their old, or a group’s older concept you liked more than their newer concept.)
Aespa – I really liked Aespa’s cyberpunk concept; it was super cool, and I really liked all the neon colors in their music videos, especially “Black Mamba.” But I think I like Aespa’s new concept better because, one, “Drama” exists, and two, I think it would be better for the long run.
I-DLE (ULTS) – I really liked I-DLE’s old music; it was very emotional, gothic, and dark. (Before y’all attack me, this part will be about Soojin.) But after Soojin left, I-DLE’s music has gotten better because I feel like they shifted their music into being more confident. And even though Soojin left, it didn’t slow them down, and that’s why I LOVE LOVE LOVE their newer music.
Red Velvet – I just added Red Velvet so there could be four groups, but I didn’t mind their concept change. I really like both, and I don’t prefer one over the other.
TWICE – I was a casual fan of TWICE before 2019. When they became one of my K-pop groups, I loved their more darker-meaning music, but you could never really tell at first listen. Like, I don’t think if you told someone to listen to “I Can’t Stop Me,” they would’ve guessed the internal struggle and danger of giving in to uncontrollable desires
