Can I scrape flowers off top of the cake?

Idk if that’s the right flair or not or if this is even allowed here, but I bought a smash cake for my baby’s professional pictures, long story short I’m really not that happy with the cake, but it was only $30 so not worth arguing with the baker about and I literally need the cake 12 hours after I picked it up. If it weren’t for all the flowers I’d have zero complaints.
I hate them, can I get them off without ruining the rest of the cake?
I already removed the ones on the cake board. I just feel all the flowers take away from the actual theme of the cake and there were no where near this many flowers in the picture I sent to the baker.

Can anyone tell me what kind of shark this may have belonged to?

I tried looking on Google but they all look the same to me
Found at Myrtle beach state park in South Carolina.

Do you have a link to a stainless steel litter box big enough for your MC?

I want to switch to a stainless steel box because we need a new one anyways and I noticed this past time I fully emptied and cleaned that it was pretty badly scratched at the bottom and I’m sure that’s partly why his litter smelled so bad, I just changed to tofu litter and he took to it right away!
This box measures 26.5” long x 17.5” wide (the actual litter part) and it’s definitely too small because manages to get poop on the walls.

Thanks!

Washers water doesn’t get that “hot”

We live in an apartment and we have a stackable washer/dryer.

The washer seems to clean diapers/clothes fine. But for whatever reason the water does get “hot” even on the hot setting, it literally get like a warm bath, I bet if I checked the water temp after it filled it would probably only be in the 90s, cool enough for my toddler or even baby to bathe in.

I have noticed when it’s filling it switches between hot water and warm/cool water.

Will rinsing before wet bag solve ammonia smell?

I cloth only during the day but for my 9.5 month and 3 year old, I really like to only wash every 3 days, because that’s usually how long it takes to have a full load.

I typically only rinse poop diapers and just put pee only straight to the wet bag, but I hate walking by them and smelling the ammonia, not to mention if we have guests (which isn’t often, but we had MIL, BIL, SIL and nephew over 2 days ago and I could smell the diaper walking past them to get to the bathroom, so I know they could too.

Bedtime struggles- how long to adjust without pacifier?!

We took the binky 11 days ago, she is 3yrs 3mo ASD level 1, I thought she would be better without it by now.
I’m not even sure that’s the entire problem, but the bedtime tantrums started right around when we took it, she seemed fine the first 2 days/nights without it, then would randomly ask for it throughout the day, she hasn’t asked for it in 2-3 days now. But the bedtime tantrums have only gotten worse

We used to do bath, books in bed then I turn on her sea animal light and she’d go to sleep within 10-15 mins.
Now she doesn’t want anything to do with books and she’s having major meltdowns.

Idk what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.

How many inserts and what kind do you have to use to hold baby’s pee?

I feel like my girl (9 months today) is a heavy wetter, like she holds her pee and let’s it all flow at once, which is leading to leaks, I don’t think it’s a fit issue, but more so an absorbency issue.

So just curious what inserts you find to be the most absorbent!

Will my toddler ever like her little sister or other kids in general?

Toddler- almost 3.5 newly diagnosed level 1, baby-almost 9 months.
Toddler has NEVER had interest in other kids not even as an infant, but she interacts with adults easily.
When we first brought baby home she showed no interest, I didn’t pressure her to interact with her, but would offer for her to if she wanted, she did “help” feed baby a handful of times when she was newborn and that was the extent of her interaction with her.

Now that baby is mobile she is trying to interact with her big sister and she still wants nothing to do with her. I have caught her being “mean” to the baby a handful of times (step away to the kitchen for second and peek out) and once she was hitting her on the head and the next few times I’ve caught her either pulling the baby’s fingers, arm or legs.

I’m just looking for hope that eventually she’ll accept the baby isn’t going anywhere and she’ll play with her at some point. I fear once the baby starts walking and actually following her around, like to the toy room, that it’s going to be bigger problems with her being “mean”.

Introducing timer? Success?

My 3 year old was diagnosed level 1, about 1.5 weeks ago.

I have seen some stuff about introducing a timer to help transition between activities (playing to time for dinner etc) and I’m wondering if anyone has had any success with it, how did you introduce it?

Migraine with severe aura?? Speech impairment?

Idk if my age is relevant, but I am 31 (soon to be 32) I’ll try to make this short, I have struggled with migraines for many years (I’d estimate 5-6) and they are usually related to the time I’m due to ovulate, sometimes again when I get my period. Usually they just cause me sensitivity to light and nausea, but have caused some tingling/numbness in my hands, arm and face occasionally and in general can last 1-3 days, but have had one instance of it lasting 6 days.

Today however was very different.
Started as my usual migraine and had been present for about 2-3 hours before it lead to some blurry/blind spots in both eyes in my peripheral vision. That subsided after about 30 minutes. My husband gets home from work, and asked me a question, then it was like a switch, it felt like I couldn’t think, I couldn’t talk right, I knew what I wanted to say but either couldn’t say it or would say a different word/phrase, that lasted about 10-15 minutes before my speech returned to normal. Then numbness tingling in my right hand, up my arm and then traveled to my face (upper lip)- tingling/numbness subsided in just a few minutes.

Has anyone else experienced this with a migraine?

*also, yes I will be following up with my doctor.

Formulas cans left in heat for 3 hours

I ordered 6 cans of formula for my baby and used express delivery, they are supposed to get my signature upon delivery.

It says my package was delivered at 1130 this morning, I only found it at 230- so 3 hours sitting outside in 89° southern heat. Im sure they’re probably fine since they were under the covered porch at least in the shade.

I’m just annoyed because the box very clearly says infant formula in big letters on the sides of the box, so like don’t you think you at the very least could’ve knocked or rang the doorbell to let me know my package was delivered.

Not sure if she actually knows what being scared is, she just turned 3 like 1.5 weeks ago. First it was bath time and she suddenly hates getting a bath (that started about 2 months ago) when she used to love the bath. Now she’s suddenly “scared” to go outside and play, like full on meltdown saying she is scared and standing by the door to go back in. Idk what to do, I don’t wanna be trapped in the house all summer, I also have a 7 month old. I’ve tried asking her why she’s scared, but she just repeats “I’m scared”, which is why I’m not sure she even knows what being scared is or she just doesn’t know how to tell me what she is scared of…
