A few years ago, I heard that you will be rewarded with rizq if you do Istighfar.

And it absolutely works!
One time, I participated in a giveaway which like more than 1000 people also participated in it for an electronic device. The winners of the giveaway were going to be decided some days later, and I just kept doing Istighfar until the day the results came out…… And I won! Some of my classmates saw the results and told everyone in the class about me and me winning that giveaway was what everyone talked about the next day at school.

Some time later I also participated in a giveaway in discord for a small amount of money, and I decided to try it again. I did Istighfar a few hundred times and I won again at the end…

There was also one time when I was practicing Istighfar daily for like 500 to 2000 times a day and I overheard my dad telling my mom that his business was getting more customers than usual for some reason…. When I heard that I asked myself, could that be because I’m doing Istighfar? I was just a teenager at the time I didn’t have a job…. So is Allah giving rizq to my father instead? That money will be spent on us anyway so I did get rizq in the end!

At the end, I want to say that if you do Istighfar and don’t get rizq, maybe God is just testing your patience. Don’t fail that test and you will get rewarded by Allah :)
