Make sure to wear your gear!

I see he was wearing normal jeans but the helmet did it's job as well as the boots and jacket, sure they were Built(or whatever the name was) they prevented things from getting worse. My dad this afternoon was hit by an inattentive driver who took a left right into him. He fractured his left hip, knee, and ankle. Dislocated his left shoulder, and fractured his right hand thumb. Still getting updates and info but so far the doctors are saying he's not going to be able to walk for a few months. It was in a construction zone, and he was only doing 45. Despite doing things to make himself more visible like flashing his high beam they still didn't see him.

So wear your gear, you have people that love you.

Be safe out there and wear your gear

My dad was riding back home from an appointment today, an individual not paying attention turned left right into him. He's not going to be able to walk for a few months but at least he's alive. Without that helmet I'm pretty sure he would be dead.

So make sure to wear your gear. People love you.

Be safe people. Keep an eye out for motorcycles and wear your gear

My dad was hit today South of Willard on his way home. An individual not paying attention took a left right into him. Multiple fractures and won't be able to walk for a few months. So when you're driving pay attention to the road. And if you're on a bike make sure to wear your gear. He wouldn't be here without his helmet.

Electrical gremlins Gen 1 650

Where to begin, I bought this bike at the end of April, got it running middle of May. But one thing I've been having issues with is it's blowing the 30 amp fuse on the starter relay randomly. I replaced the rectifier with a mosfet and did a bypass mod to go straight to battery with a 30 amp fuse(I have ground going to the spark plug coil pack thingy), stator is reading healthy numbers, battery is a bit high at 13.6-14.2 but healthy.

I replaced the wire going from the relay to the starter thinking when that decided it wanted to become one with the exhaust (now that I think about it, that's when it started getting that issue, but that was also shortly after I got it running too). No other fuses blow, not even the one going from the rectifier to the battery. Should I also replace the wire going from the battery to the starter relay? I should check grounds and make sure they're stable. Where are all the ground points?

more things to note, previous owner removed the switch for the kickstand. I checked that and it looks like it's been deleted correctly. I'm thinking of doing a clutch sensor delete soon, haven't until I figure out what is blowing fuses.

more random stuff, the dash and turn signals share the same fuse!? so I can unplug "meter" in the fuse box and overall nothing changes.

I'm feeling like 5 gallons of gas and a lighter are the solution.

So I'm trying to figure out what the PO did with the fuel air adjustment valve. Is that supposed to be it?
