New potion mechanics.
If dragons breath is used on an upgraded potion, then it will further increase it's upgrade. In order to use this, though, you must use a nether star as the fuel (which only has 5 uses, instead of 20). Star fuel has a separate fuel bar, which is only consumed when dragon breath is used to UPGRADE a potion (not when used to make a lingering potion).
An example would be:
Strength II potion + dragons breath = Strength III, but with 1/6th of the duration (15 seconds), since these potions would be extremely strong.
8:00 Strength I potion + dragons breath = 12:00 Strength I
If it is used on a normal potion (3:00 Strength I for example), then it will become a lingering potion like normal. Lingering potions can be upgraded after conversion, unlike other potion types.
Potions can be downgraded by putting a water bottle as the ingredient (like watering it down). This CANNOT be used to turn a potion back into awkward. Potions with a potency of 3 or duration of 12:00 (in other words, those upgraded by dragons breath), cannot be converted into another potion type (meaning they cannot become splash or lingering)
"Well, wouldn't regen 3 completely invalidate golden and enchanted apples?" You may be asking. They both have absorption and regeneration at the same time, which make them inherently better, and are why regen potions are never ever used. And enchanted apples also have resistance/fire resistance. And potions can't stack either so there's that. And they're much harder to obtain.
The new star fuel also introduces new potions that could not be obtained before:
-Haste (Diamond as ingedient)
Lasts 6 minutes. Decreased to 4 minutes when upgraded with glowstone. Increased to 8 minutes when upgraded with redstone.
-Saturation (Golden apple as ingredient)
Lasts 1 second. Increased to 3 when upgraded with redstone. Cannot be upgraded with glowstone.
-Resistance (not effected by glowstone)
Lasts 7 seconds. Increased to 14 when upgraded with redstone. Cannot be upgraded with glowstone.
Upgrading these potions also consumes (and requires) 1 use of star fuel.
I tried my hardest to balanced these to the point where it's better to get a beacon than make these potions, so then they can be used as last resorts instead of farmed and used all of the time (like totems).
