Coworker gifted me his old mineral collection today

My coworker found out I'm into minerals and gave me his old mineral collection today. It had been stored away for like twenty years now and he was super hyped to find someone who actively collects.

I'm honored but totally overwhelmed. Most of the mounting-putty is super loose and some speciments are sadly broken. This is gonna be a long week of sorting and organizing boys, wish me luck

Any suggestions on where to start?

Got mine almost 7 years ago. I always wanted a Zelda tattoo and as soon as I turned 18 I had this done. It's not done very well, I had no idea what to be on the look-out for when it comes to good artists, it's on my wrist facing the "wrong" way but I love it regadless :)

The ones I got later turned out way better, but everyone starts somewhere, am I right.

What's you guys first ever tattoo, how old is it and why did you get it?

Hey guys, I finished A Game of Thrones yesterday and want to start another book from my physical TBR list.

That pile is getting way too big for my taste but I'm not sure if I should go straight for A Clash of Kings or start something else that isn't as long.

Any recommendations or thoughts?

Had this round baby delivered to my place today and he is perfect. The sewing error is a bummer but I gladly know someone who might be able to fix him. Look at him, he is so sleepy😭

I finished all 987 pages of Amygdala today and wanted to give a shout-out to this book. I see very view people talking about it and it deserves some praise.

The worldbuilding was so much fun and for a debut novel this thing is nothing short of passionate and ambicious. I had a really good time with it.

Granted, this might not be for everyone. As mentioned, it's a debut novel and the plot could be a tiny bit more polished here and there, but everyone needs to start somewhere and I have high hopes for this author.

I would also be mindfull of some of the themes, if you are squeamish or get triggered easily this might not be the book for you. But if you are a dark fantasy and political-schemes fan like me, I'd give it a shot. It's planned to be a series and book two Wonderlust is supposed to come out in September. I'm definitly hyped for more :3

Anyone else has read this book and what are your thoughts on it?
