My church runs off a Mac mini into audience and stage displays, 2 TVs each, those TVs come back as just 1 wire each however. I’m looking for any recommendations on a hdmi converter to run both hdmis into a usb c slot so that I can display the lyrics on screen. Any recommendations? Thanks.
I got a speeding ticket on the bend of i5 between Tacoma and federal way by a WSP. I… allegedly was going 82 in a 60, when I look at a deferral (I’ve only had a warning before) it says a 150$ fee minimum and then a probation of 6-12 months. The ticket is 230$ or so if I remember correctly. I am under my parents insurance and don’t really know if I should pay, show up to court and hope the officer isn’t there, or pay a lawyer for a CHANCE to not have it appear on record. Is this even worth it instead of taking the hit on insurance?
Ive been recording outdoor videos on my iphone 17 using log and color grading with davinci and feel like making the jump to a camera for better overall performance and low light handling with better subject seperation. im looking at the sony 6700, probably new or like new as the used prices are less than 100$ difference on reputable websites. im thinking for the first lens, to get a 18-50mm Sigma f2.8. what are your thoughts on this as a setup for hiking/camping/ outdoor video? is it risky to buy used lenses?
My mom is looking to clean/ take care of her Honda CRV seats. They are a tan leather, has anyone used this? Is it good/ easy to use and apply? Any other recommendations?
I know I’m not 100% locked in on sleep, diet, and working out, BUT I don’t think I’m slacking so hard that I shouldn’t be making visible progress. Sleep is usually closer to 7 hours than 8, diet isn’t tracked but my total body weight only fluctuates up or down about 1-2 lbs. I eat eggs for breakfast, chicken at lunch and dinner, Greek yogurt for snacks and so on. I workout upper body at least 2x a week, lower body maybe 1x and then a few mile hike on the weekend. I get that I’m tall but I feel as though after 2 years, I should be more filled out and actually have developed muscle mass, especially in the shoulders and chest area… for reference, I’m 6’4 180lbs, as far as I know my arms arnt “abnormally long” in fact? I believe my wing span is about 6’2-3”.
Shot on iPhone, I’ve been struggling with the color grading/ recording on iPhone with log footage but I kind of just threw this in davinci, CST, some messing around and it looks( I think) a lot better than other videos I’ve taken
Is there a big difference in safety with regular polarized glasses and actual glacier glasses? I have some, although cheap, polarized fishing glasses that say 100% UV protection. Do I really need to invest 100-200$ on glasses? Going up Mount Adams over 2 days.
Going up Mount Adams over 2 days this weekend, ( stop at lunch counter) wondering if my gears all good?

-crampons+ la sportiva b2 boots, merino socks, stuff for blisters

Might have missed listing something. Let me know if there’s something I should change? Excited but also nervous 😬😁
As per the title, I’m planning on doing a big “hike”/ mountain trip in the next month( kind of late to start, I know) I’m planning on hitting Mount Adams in Washington if all goes well; south climb route. Planning for 2 days, stopping at lunch counter. That means backpacking gear (~30lb pack). I do hike every week or other week, at least a few miles with ~3k elevation gain. I workout my legs as well, 1-2x a week with heavy weight training. My problem is I’ve been slacking with cardio, it’s only the hikes I mentioned. What should I focus on in the next month? I’ve never done anything with “thin” air. Mt st Helen’s winter summit is my toughest hike I’d say, others say Adams is a longer version of adams plus the elevation. What would most drastically help? Stair climbs with weight? Should I do both up and down? Or just machine? Incline treadmill? Sprinting to get vo2 increase? All help and tips appreciated. Really set on this climb weather permitting.
I know I’m a young guy but my knees can’t take much more😂. Would Mt Adams be a large just from Mt st Helen’s( wormflows- winter time)? Probably gonna be my last big summit, at least for a while, if I attempt it. I would be going with someone else who’s got a lot more experience. I’ve done only a few trips where crampons were necessary. Let me know your thoughts on Adams difficulty and if I should even try it. ( my knees were killing me on the way down from Helen’s 😂)
How big do you think it is? I will note that I am on a paddleboard for the 3rd pic and I am 6’4 (if you think the fish looks small compared to me😂)
I really want to do some higher elevation mountains / hikes. I’ve done Helen’s but that’s about the highest I’ll get without needing a helmet in Washington state that I’ve seen/ want to do. I have an above average head size (~64cm if I measured correctly) I cannot for the life of me find a helmet made for mountaineering specifically that has this size. The size equates to 2XL I believe and I only find L/XL sizing. I know not much people have this problem but anyone know a place to find helmets that go that large? Or do I just stick to non technical/ helmet hikes and mountains?😪
