Can we just talk about Jared’s verse. Just casually dropping “lycanthropy” in the middle of a rap verse like that is actually insane. Always knew the dude was nuts but JEEEEEZE. That is all. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Guys holy fuckin shit. Just stop. It’s insane how hyper fixated this sub has become over the new movie. You’re acting like they made shrek fuckin blue and donkey is a duck now. Get over it, be happy we’re getting a new movie with the original cast. Holy hell.

I am so tired of this sub downplaying the significance of this album, and all the work that kid put into doing it. “It’s just not Brad” “its missing that soul of Brad” “it doesn’t hit the same” “there’s not enough genre changes” fucking OBVIOUSLY. but to argue that this isn’t the closest sound we’ve gotten to an actual sublime record since the self titled is completely unfounded in reality. He sounds nearly identical to his father on some of these songs. Everyone who is trashing his live performances are also just so stuck in the past, and clearly had never seen sublime live (or even listened to stand by your van, or any other live cuts) because Brad was shit like 75% of the time playing live because he was too trashed to remember the lyrics or the chords (or play and sing at the same time!). You’re all glorifying him to the point that you’re diminishing his own son’s accomplishments & tribute to his dad, which is absolutely NOT what Brad would have wanted. You’ve all lost fucking sight on this project and don’t realize how lucky we are to even get it.
