So, so, so sick and tired of all Drake and Kendrick posts. Tell me who you bump a lot that don't get a lot of exposure here

I've really loved Samara Cyns output, as well as Conway ever since Griselda became known. Didnt care too much for the new Rapsody album, unfortunately. Looking for a new album that feels complete, start to finish. With some hits and an overarching story lyrically and/or sonically.

Edit: are the Drake stans really so toxic they go through and downvote everything besides Drake memes? Jeezuz fking christ, get a life.

Edit2: to all Drake stans trying to be cute: I feel so sad for you and your whole existence and anyone in your physical life that has to put up with you. You are unbearable online, and I cannot fathom how that translates to your offline social life, if there even is one.

Edit3: cant you Drake stans see that you are the only ones being offended that I wanted a post that avoided any focus on Drake and Kendrick? I hate all you stans - both Drakes and Kdots - but jeez, introspection is a virtue

Need something that forces me to binge it

I havent been that captivated by a tv show in a long time and I just want a show that grips me so much that I want to postpone doing everything else.

Everything goes, but the last shows that have gripped me was Trying, Welcome to Wrexham, After Life, Dopesick, Mr Inbetween, Fisk, We Are Lady Parts, Queens Gambit, The Pitt, Dexter Ressurection, Dead Loch, Nobody Wants This, A League of Their Own, Big Little Lies, Mare of Easttown, Sex Education, all Mike Schur sitcoms.

I'll just comment W if I've already watched your suggestion.

Thank you in advance!

Anyone gone from Charge 5 to 6? Cardio problem

Hi,

So I've been on sick leave for a couple of years due to anxiety, and get less than a usual amount of physical activity in. When I was using Charge 5 I got around 75-85 Cardiostrain (dno correct term in english), but when I've changed to Charge 6 it is insanely sensitive to heartrate so I get Cardio just chilling due to a high pulse. Now, with only 2 active days this whole week, I've gotten 462.

Has anyone else had this problem? Feel like I cant trust fitbits metrics anymore (others included, like sleep, fitness levels etc), and the whole thing just becomes redudant

Low effort, amazing read

I'm currently in a reading slump and looking for something that doesnt require much of me as a reader (that is, prose that flows very nicely without being an effort to get into, or not many perspectives) and is still amazing. It's very broad, but I read most genres of fiction.

Thank you in advance!

FICTION: About living a double life; having to flee your home due to danger; dependence on others for your well-being

Hi, so my request is a bit specific. I want to read fiction that deals with living a double life, having to leave your home and struggling with not being able to return, choosing safety over morals, living in war ravaged social environments, companionship, living through and with trauma. Either in broader themes, or something more specific to one or several characters.

Edit: Does not need to have all of them, just at least one

Cardio strain related to daily wellness score gone?

Sorry if these terms are confusing, as I have them in another language.

I see that my cardio strain only stands at 150 min per week, 22 min per day, however before the Google health update I got info where it recommended a higher or lower cardiovascular strain in relation to how much I'd pushed myself lately, how I'd slept, my resting heart rate and so forth, but I cant find it anywhere. Is it just gone in favour of a general "22 min a day"?

I feel like Drake should get his ghostwriters back

I'm working my way through the albums rn, and I only enjoyed Hoe Phase and Princess of MOH, none on Habibti, and didnt feel like ICEMAN started until Ran to Atlanta, which a lot of lacklustered songs after that.

Generally, I feel like these albums are very uninspired. MOH had some cool productions but lazy and uninspired delivery. Habibti just sounds like throwaway first drafts that wasnt worked on further. And ICEMAN is kinda monotonous in its production - besides ran to Atlanta and Shabang.

I don't feel like Drake is able to carry albums without writers. I've checked some of the Song DNA things, and it's only Drake being credited, so either he has lost or dropped his ghostwriters, or they are doing a bad job. Just through and through bland and lacklustered.

I miss the catchy sing/rap along songs, the forward pushing production, and the general cohesiveness to the songs.

What are your thoughts?

Weaning off Zoloft, hard to focus

Hi,

So I started weaning off Zoloft from 50mg to 25mg about 17 days ago, and these last couple of days I've had problems sleeping and racing thoughts. I've been on them for about 2,5 years and fell in love with reading during that period. Now I can't seem to get through a paragraph without my mind wandering off or feeling like I have to check my phone. It's harder to focus on the reading, so I get less satisfaction from doing so, so it becomes even harder to focus.

Will this pass or is this maybe just how my mind works on a lower dose of or without Zoloft?

Setting up Nest Hub as an always on display showing a calender

Hi, my mom and cousin often plan out my grandmas day, but as she is very forgetful, most of it has to be repeated numerous times back to her. So, I had an idea that they we could set up a Nest Hub for my grandma with a calender that both my mom and cousin have access to, so they can insert whatever is happening there, so each morning when grandma is making breakfast or coffee, she could just lay her eyes on the Nest Hub and see what is happening that day and the days to come.

So, my question is: Can you set up a Nest Hub to display a calender, and only a calender, that is always on so she does not have to switch it on, were updates from my family will automatically (or at least within the hour) be added? If not with the Nest Hub, do you have any other suggestions for tech that could do so?

I've tried googling, but I couldn't figure it out if it was possible or not, as my question is a bit too specific

Are illegal drugs seized by authorities ever used for something afterwards?

Like, given to pharmaceutical companies for repurposing or something of the kind?

My question is a bit hard to phrase, but I'll give some context. This especially relates to fantasy readers, as names and places of origin does not necessarily have any real world connection.

I've noticed that in western fiction, in 9 times out of 10, a characters skin tone is only mentioned if they are not white. Therefore, when reading western fiction, I usually assume that, if nothing else is said, the author intends for us to view the character as white. I'm not really a fan of this, and, if it does not matter to the story which skin color a character has or if there aren't any defining features, I tend to decide for my own how that character is visually portrayed ethnically.

However! I am a westernborn white man, and so the unique experience of reading western fiction, fantasy in particular, from the POV of a non-white is not something, safe to say, I can just 'imagine' or reason my way to.

I'm currently working on a fantasy book, and I intend for the characters to be of different skin colors, but I avoid explicitly mentioning it. Rather, I focus on more ambiguous traits, like hair - not sure if I have any other specific features I focus on (I'm kind of new to this game). (I'm also a spare time hairdresser for a couple of my friends, and I genuinely love hair.) I do this because I believe that books lets the reader contribute a whole lot to visuals - the author merely gives references, which the reader then fleshes out. It has also given me the opportunity to see myself in works of fiction that I'd not think of relate to me if the visuals were purely defined by others. And therefore, I feel that it should be up the the reader how they view much of the world, including the characters skin tone.

So, what I'm wondering is, with my abstaining from explicitly revealing a characters skin color, do you assume them all to be white, as I write in a western tradition; does it lend itself to a freedom of imagination; would non-white people feel more represented, or see themselves more in the characters if all have ambiguous undefined skin tones; does this thinking just make me sound stupid; may it be that I am just stupid; or are there some other issues lying here that I am completely unaware of?

Thank you for your response in advance!
