Jo O'meara racism

I can't believe Jo made the racist comment : "That's why they're all thin, because they're sick all the time, because they're ill" generalising Indians. She refused to apologise and denied any racism when this was literally one of the most racist comments on the show. That is definitely a racist comment, I don't see any defence. But Jo didn't show any remorse for her racism or any sorry. She just defended herself by saying she wasn't racist because her cousin married an Indian guy and she was friendly with him and his family. Also I read another interview and she said something like "Indians should be happy I said they're thin, it is what everyone wants to be." Saying a race is skinny because they are sick all the time isn't saying they look slender and glamorous. She didn't learn anything from her time in the house at all and wasn't willing to accept any responsibility or blame.

Also, racism aside Jo came across quite badly in the house in general. Seemed quite foul and moody.

Atleast Jade seemed genuinely more sorry and willing to accept some responsibility and learn.

Heidi's vocals

A lot of people say that Heidi is one of the weaker vocalists. Honestly, I love her voice. It is so sultry and unique and has an amazing undertone. I love the sound of it.

Juicy Couture

Hi,

You know the original Y2K terrycloth Juicy Couture bikinis? (See pic)

I bought a few vintage ones. Can I ask a few questions about them:

Can you swim in the sea and pool in them or is it better to leave them for lounging? (I already have other swimsuits for swimming so if its just a designer bikini for lounging or going on the beach that isn't a problem. I just wanted your guys opinion)

How do you advise to wash them?

Also, do you find the bikinis durable or are they best for just designer lounging/taking pics in etc?

Best cast

Honestly, I think the Saved by the Bell cast is literally one of the best television casts ever. I literally cannot recast any of the main 6. They all sink into their roles perfectly. Even if the acting isn't the best, they are always playing the role, and embodying their character. The cast also had great diversity, really ahead of its time. The cast all looked great together and had amazing chemistry. Even though they all looked different, and were all so different, it was very believable that they would all be friends.

I think Tiffani Thiessen was amazingly cast as Kelly. She is just gorgeous on SBTB. She was stunning on Saved by the Bell. I liked how they didn't go with a stereotypical blonde but chose a beautiful brunette. She was beautiful but not intimidating and looked sweet and warm. Tiffani really channelled her kindness and beautiful personality.

Mark Paul is amazing as Zack. He is also gorgeous, sexy, handsome. He is perfectly cast and manages to channel all different sides of Zack's persona. Charming, sexy, naughty, sometimes a bit wicked... Mark has just nailed it.

Elizabeth Berkeley is also great as Jesse. She brings a maturity that was really needed in the cast.

Mario Lopez is also great as the jock. His acting is very natural and doesn't look like acting - he's just Slater.

Lark is also greatly cast as Lisa. She has a great face for television and makes Lisa likeable and cute despite her shallow traits.

Dustin is iconic as Screech. His acting is also very natural too. There is no other screech he just nails it.

Make up Brands

What I think:

Dior is about looking glowy, fresh, radiant moisturised and hydrated. They excel in radiant make up products.

Charlotte Tilburry is about looking feminine and airbrushed. Pink, feminine colours and flawless skin.

Bobbi Brown channels earthy make up vibes. Their foundations have always had yellow tones. Their make up has always had a very slight hippie vibe/edge.

Mac is all about looking like you have make up on. Mac encourages everyone to become their own make up artist and gives people the tools to experiment.

Too faced is like a make up candy store. Everything looks edible and glossy. Everything is infused with gourmet food scents. Everything smells good and tastes good.

Rank their looks

Rank Girls Aloud looks wise:

1)Cheryl - She is one of the most gorgeous girls whoever walked the planet. Her face is gorgeous. All her features go together perfectly. She has beautiful skin and eyes and smile. Gorgeous hair. She's to die for.

2)Sarah - She has the most beautiful, angelic face. I love her icy blonde hair. Not many girls can pull off that super icy blonde colour and short hair cut but she has the face, cheekbones. Super pretty face and great tall, lean figure. I think she's the sexiest Girls Alouder.

3)Nicola - People probably won't agree with me but I put Nicola 3rd. I never used to understand why the press used to call her ugly. She has gorgeous hair and skin and interesting strong features. Her red hair is to die for. Her alabaster skin is stunning. She's gorgeous, unique and interesting looking.

4)Kimberly - I don't find Kimberly that beautiful. But she is known for her amazing hair, curvy figure and full lips. She has beautiful curves and lips. Also, out of the 5 girls I think she has the nicest speaking voice. Sexy, husky. Very feminine looking. She also had a sex appeal that none of the other girls had.

5)Nadine - I don't find Nadine physically good looking. But I do love her hair and her skin. Always glowing! Also, I don't mean this in a nasty way but did anyone else notice how far apart her eyes are. I'm not saying it looks bad just saying I've rarely seen a girl with eyes far apart as hers.

Becoming a make up artist

Hi,

are there any UK make up artists here who can give me tips on how to get started? Is a course necessary?

How do I get a job at a counter or how do I get bridal work?

Many thanks

My two favourite concealers ever: nothing beats this

I have tried so many concealers over the years. I honestly always go back to these two concealers.

The Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and also The Dior Forever Skin Correct.

These two concealers are amazing.

Nars radiant creamy concealer:

This is a cult favourite for a reason. It's just stunning. It has such a natural finish and it is so long wearing and provides great coverage. It has a natural finish which works with any kind of foundation. It just covers and lasts all day and is impeccable.

Dior Forever Skin correct.

I prefer the Nars slightly to the Dior but this is stunning too. This is so hydrating and radiant and creamy and it has such amazing light reflecting properties it makes your under eyes feel so bright. It has good lasting power and is so soft. The packaging is so luxe.

I love both concealers but prefer Nars a bit more. I think Nars is more practical and has bit better coverage and longeivty. Also the nars bottle is more practical the Dior one is so luxe and in a glass so I feel more comfortable chucking Nars in my bag.

Nars is amazing and Dior rocks. Honestly I've never been impressed by any other concealer like these two.

Dior Foundation Stick vs Lancome Teint Idole

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a foundation for oily combo skin? I am looking for something long lasting with a satin-matte or nice matte finish which will keep my oils at bay.

I am looking at lancome teint idole stick or Dior foundation stick - which do you think is the best?

Also can anyone recommend any other foundation to meet these needs?

This was sort of the friendship divide in the band. Whose side were you on?

Cheryl - I've met people who have met Cheryl and said she isn't nice. She just seems to have made a career out of her pretty privilege. I dislike her voice and don't like her that much.

Kimberly - Kimberly is quite likeable and has a down to earth relatable quality. However, I'm not sure how nice she is truly.

Nicola - I like Nicola's voice and she's crucial to the band. I like her image. But I never liked her personality that much. Seems a bit moany. And just rolling with the whole "I'm the ugly one poor me"

_

Sarah - Sarah always seemed fun and nice to me. But a bit kooky.

Nadine - I can't dislike Nadine because she is the vocal talent. But her personality can sometimes lack warmth I feel.

Hi are there any reddit users who are happy to communicate with me through messaging to authenticate Juicy Couture vintage items? I used to have two people who helped me but one has deleted their profile and another doesn't message much now. Please let me know!

Kind regards

I rewatched Popstars: the rivals (I got the DVD). I thought Kimberly sang quite well in that. Like, better than what she sang in the group. She showed more vocal ability in the show as opposed to when she was in the band. In the auditions and Popstars show, she shows off her vocal ability. Here she sings soft ballads. She has a really nice girlie, pretty, voice that is perfect for soft ballads. Also in the interviews she says how she isn't interested in fame and just loves singing and performing.

Here's a link of her singing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_H6UzLIRrGw

Kimberly has a nice singing voice. She had talent and passion. Her voice just wasn't suited to Girls Aloud which is why no one recognised her talent while she was in the group. She wasn't suited to singing fast, catchy pop choruses and quick one-line vocals. She was much better at singing soft, calm, slow ballads. Her talent was lost and she just became known as the curvy one in Girls Aloud. But prior to the group she had musical experience, enjoyed singing and could sing OK.
