If I'm staying in Taipei city center, how far out and how late would you recommend I can see stuff in other cities and still be able to get back with public transportation only?
On both coasts.
On both coasts.
I don't have a M class license otherwise I'd rent a scooter. How do I go about hiring a taxi? I wouldn't need all day guide but I do want to visit multiple places at my own pace. I read you can book a ride near the port but what happens when I want to move to the next location? How will I get into contact with another taxi to go to the next location?
I use the self serve kiosk so I don't need to talk to anyone and I bring my own cup. The pickup counter is around the corner in the back next to the bathroom. I don't pass by it unless I need to pee. Today I needed to pee after staying for a few hours and saw that there was my receipt and cup sitting there the whole time. Is there any special way for me to signal I don't need a cup without having to talk to someone? What happens to the cup? Does it just sit there until closing? Is this a problem?
I eat ovo lacto vegetarian foods. I'm okay with allums. What is the best way to make sure the food is okay for me to eat without speaking the language? is holding card / phone up with it saying something good enough? what would it say? since vegetarian is a spectrum in Taiwan, I want to make sure it's fine for me but I also don't want to choose the most restrictive version just to be safe.
Remember when smoking weed was taboo? When it was cool to smoke weed? When some people made it their whole personality? Have you noticed that still being a thing with the younger generations? I haven't noticed any of that but I also don't interact with kids.
Is it easy to spot a foreigner even if they're Taiwanese? How? Why?
What do you think of these people? Especially if they never learned the language?
So I keep hearing how Taiwan is vegetarian and vegan friendly, so I understand that there are a lot of accommodating places to eat in Taiwan, but I never hear about what dishes are traditional or iconic that are vegetarian. Does Taiwan have any of these? The foods I hear about are always meat based, like Taiwanese fried chicken, Taiwanese sausages, beef noodle soup, pork rice, oyster omelete. Does Taiwan have any vegetarian or vegan signature dishes in Taiwanese cuisine? Or is it just all meat based and it's just a country that is accommodating for the non-meat diet? Do different cities have signature dishes like how Japan cities do?
I have sip club. I'm sure you're not supposed to share, but if my dad just used my phone number at the kiosk and got a drink for himself because he was near a Panera, would the employees notice? Do the employees recognize regulars and would they stop my dad from using his own cup if he used my sip club number?
So I have 2 cameras, A cam shoots 23.98 and can't be jam sync'd, and B cam shoots 24 and can be jam sync'd. My TC generator and recorder can be set to any rate. If I set everything to 24, and print 24 to an audio track on A cam, that'll still work right? It doesnt really matter that I'm printing 24 to a 23.98 video right?
Or is it better to include other countries because it's too much for Taiwan?
Are there any Lumix 28-200 defenders? The 20-200 seems to have better everything. How big of a difference does the dual IS have on the 28-200? How much of a compromise is the size and weight increase of the 20-200?
When using dual IS, there's an option that comes up that reads lens + body roll with the choice of lens or body. Which do you choose and why?
Could you buy a 20L bottle and fill it up for free at the police station? Or will they tell you to go away?
I have an S9 and Im primarily video. I'd like my C modes to mimic the video mode. Is this possible? I'm aware you can still shoot video in photo mode, but all the display info is different, the 6k modes are greyed out, I have no access to waveform and vectorscopes, etc etc. I just want C modes to act as if Im on video mode but with different settings.
This is the only one I see with these markings. All other around here are standard rollipollies.
