Electric scooter speed easily adjustable?

Can electric scooters be speed adjusted between restricted & unrestricted easily?

I need to be able to adjust the speed of the scooter to suit the person who is riding it. So basically just reduce the speed, & then change it back. Is this possible?

Also, is it better to look for an electric scooter that is all terrain, working well both on & off road? Are there any that perform well on multiple surfaces?

Thanks.

Should I re-pot my new Wisteria to a bigger pot? Is terracotta ok?

I bought this wisteria yesterday and it was such a serious bargain that I couldn’t pass it up. They had heavily reduced it because it wasn’t in a pot, it was just sat there looking sad with its roots exposed. I couldn’t bear to leave it behind in that sorry state.

It was late when I got home and I didn’t have time to do much with it or find a larger pot, so I mixed some multi purpose compost with pumice and temporarily potted it in a basic plastic pot since that was all I had on hand at the time & watered it.

I went for a hunt in the shed earlier and found a large terracotta pot. Now I am wondering if that would be more suitable or if it is too big? (It's the one in the photo next to the wisteria). I am also wondering if it needs a better potting mix?

This is my first wisteria and I want to give it the best chance I can. I eventually want to plant it in the ground but my garden is undergoing some work at the moment, so can this be done at a later date without causing too much stress?

All advice is welcome 😊

What's in this pot please? I planted peonies, but I think that strawberry & something else have found there way in there too.

Please can anyone provide an ID on the plants.

Also, does anyone know what the bronze/brown coloured plant life is? It's short and growing close to soil level.

Should I separate them? Any advice welcome.

Thanks.

Help! Before my MIL finds out I screwed up.

Can these be salvaged? My Mother-in-law gave me them & I clearly haven't watered them enough. On top of that it's been hotter than usual over the past week

I think I last watered them on Friday? I know, it's soooo bad 😔 I am thoroughly ashamed of myself, but I completely forgot I had them. I was supposed to pot up too but haven't had time. I didn't ask for them but it was very kind of her to gift them & now I feel awful.

Please help.

(Sorry if I doubled up pics)

Can my lucky plant be saved?

I moved my lucky plant to my window sill & we happened to have a few very sunny days & it ended up sun scorched. I've since trimmed off the leaves with heavy scorching (x3), there's still a bit of discoloration I'm not sure what to do about the bark flaking and discoloration. I don't know if it's caused by rot or if if due to being in the sun? Or both?

I pat dried the bark with a piece of kitchen roll to see how damaged it was. The darker images are prior to pat drying. Some of the black transferred to the kitchen roll.

It usually sits in an inch or so of water and it's always been fine and prior to this it was doing really well. The bark isn't soggy or soft but it's clearly damaged. Will It be ok?

Location UK.

All advice welcome.

Thanks 😊

Are these common or rare? How have I never seen one before? Apparently they're called Mayflies.

First time seeing a Mayfly!

I'm wondering if they are common? Because I've never seen one before today, I got to my car and found x3 on my car roof and windscreen. How have I never seen them before?

Car is due a wash, please ignore the dirt 😳

Is it a Mayfly?

Is this a Mayfly? There were three of them on my car roof and windscreen earlier. I've never seen one before so I googled it, I'm thinking it's a mayfly but I'm not really sure. How have I never seen one before?

Will this tree be ok? Suspected sabotage by neighbours.

Hi, I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me if this tree will be ok? Is it badly damaged?

This is my neighbours tree & she suspects the tree may have been deliberately damaged by our joint neighbours. They have a history of damaging trees that they don't like, hence the suspicion. They've previously damaged my tree in the past as I refused to meet their demands to chop it down (they say the fallen leaves make their driveway a mess), now we think they are damaging hers since she also refuses to have her tree removed (they say it blocks some light).

The clean cut branches at the front of the tree were cut before she moved in. However, the snapped branches at the rear of the tree that overhang the garden boundaries have been done by the neighbours since she has lived there.

My neighbour also believes that they have also done something else to the tree, as the truck has become very dry, brittle and flakey and some of the branches at the rear of the tree appear to be dead. (See pics).

The canopy of the tree appears to be absolutely fine.

So the main issue is that the trunk has become very dry and flakey, & some branches are dead around the back of the tree. Also the tree is leaning (it's been leaning for years though).

Location: Northern England, UK

Tree Species: Conifer (Type: ??? Guessing at Leylandii? Or maybe Thuja?)

P.s: I have posted this before, but i was told to take new pics in better light.

Advice & opinions welcome.

Thanks 🙏

Is my neighbours tree being damaged deliberately? Will it be ok?

I'm hoping someone can help. My neighbour is convinced our shared neighbour is trying to kill her tree. I mean, it's definitely something they would do, they don't like either of our trees and have told us both to cut them down numerous times. When I refused to cut mine down, they damaged it by roughly hacking branches and setting fires underneath it (its canopy borders their property) which resulted in shock growth. So I wouldn't be at all surprised if they'd tried to damage hers too, especially since hers is close to there border too. They have even ganged up on her to try and force her to cut it. So I'm inclined to believe her.

I wondered if any of you could tell if there is something wrong with the tree & if there is, does it looks like deliberate damage? She says the bark has dried up, and started flaking off & no longer looks healthy.

I got her to send me a few of pics (see x9 pics), they aren't the best photos, if you need better images then let me know and Ill try and get some.

Thanks 🙏

It won't allow cross posting. Also posted in another sub.
