I recently replaced my factory Bose speakers with Kenwood KFC RS-175 speakers, along with the rest of the audio system. After some research I found people were saying I needed some baffle/rain guard system in place of the stock one to protect my speakers from rain that drains through the doors, how necessary is this? If you’ve replaced them before and never had issues do let me know please.

Not as convenient as a CarPlay screen, but hell the cool factor makes up for it. My AMP started making horrific noises so I decided to renew my entire audio system with Kenwood goodies while I was in Japan. Cost a small fortune for me but definitely worth the improvements in audio and aesthetics. It has cool audio visualizers and even the dolphin animations! I also listen to CDs a lot so another plus for me, though sometimes I do miss the old 6 slot for the CD.
One day I turned on the Miata and it made all these noises, afterwards it became quiet but then my speaker(?) stopped working and I tried aux, CD, and radio but none of them would play. It would say it is playing in the car radio but none sound actually plays. Anyone have an idea of what is going on?
Sieg Zeon! I made a quick attempt at the Magellan tank from the 1970s gundam, but as shown in the third photo the Type 61 from Gundam is much more realistic (Or as realistic as it got with regular tanks), if anyone can make a cool replica in Sprocket.
This is a photo I took on my phone, and it’s turned out to be my favorite. I added a small LED light for the monoeye and it turned out great, some editing later this is how it came out!
This was a long overdue project for me as I had these figures painted waiting for a diorama for years and I finnaly gave it a base. Although I think it looks pretty good, I feel like this is somehow incomplete, what else could I add?

I just saw this in a Japanese video introducing Finemolds 1/48 Zero kit and thought this mold for the canopy was amazing. I’ve always thought Finemolds was an underrated gem for Japanese model kits and this really shows it.
This is a question I realized recently when contemplating to get bucket seat for the drivers seat in my daily. I drive a 09 Miata for reference and taking out the stock seat would disable my SRS airbag. Do any of you have experience with this? My insurer is USAA. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
I’m looking for bucket seats to put in my Daily/AutoX build and I found this OMP seat. I can’t seem to find what model seats they are, does anyone know what model it is or if it’s some rep?
