Long-time tropical aquarist, first time "pond person." This is my 50 gallon pond embedded in my herb garden. It has a bog-style filter (on 24 hours) and two solar aerators. In an ideal world, I'd like to add fish. A few things to note:

- 50 gallons
- Cycled! The water is cloudy in this picture because I was messing with the gravel bottom. Usually it's pretty clear
- 155GPH pump
- There are plants growing in leca, and it gets a decent amount of shade. There is cover
- I'm in the midwest. I will freeze in the winter, and it gets pretty hot in the summer

Can I add fish? If so, what would you reccomend and how would I go about over-wintering them?

Got my two frogs about two and a half months ago. Would go days without seeing them at all, and over the last ten days, they've started climbing, calling, and being much more "front and center"
