[HIRING] Fractional CTO / Lead Developer — Senior Full-Stack — Project

We're building a very small software development agency and are looking for a senior developer who can act as our Fractional CTO / Lead Developer on client projects.

Important upfront: we're very early-stage, so this is not a full-time salaried position. Work will be project-by-project, with compensation/commission agreed for each project.

We're particularly interested in experience with technologies such as:

Node.js / Express / TypeScript / Ts.ED
Django / Flask
Laravel
Ruby on Rails
Java / Spring Boot
React / Next.js / jQuery
PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB / Prisma

You absolutely do NOT need to know every technology on this list.

We're looking for someone with strong engineering fundamentals who can:

• Lead full-stack development
• Help with architecture and technical decisions
• Join client calls when technical questions need to be answered
• Translate client requirements into technical solutions
• Review code and identify problems
• Work directly with junior developers
• Collaborate with developers using AI-assisted/vibe-coding workflows
• Mentor rather than simply take over their work

We'll handle lead generation, marketing, UI/UX, business operations, and general client acquisition.

We're specifically looking for someone humble and collaborative.

If you're an amazing programmer but don't like teaching, reviewing junior developers' work, or collaborating with less-experienced developers, this probably isn't the right role.

We also don't want to select someone simply because they have an impressive portfolio.

Shortlisted candidates may instead go through a small POC/practical exercise, with the scope and any compensation terms agreed beforehand.

This could be a good fit if you're already an experienced developer/technical lead and want to participate in additional projects rather than looking for guaranteed full-time employment.

If interested, please DM me with:

• Years of professional experience
• Strongest backend/frontend stack
• Previous Tech Lead/CTO/architecture experience
• Client-facing experience
• Mentoring experience
• GitHub/LinkedIn/portfolio
• Country/time zone
• Confirmation that project-based compensation is acceptable

And please answer one question:

How do you work with junior developers when their code or technical approach isn't what you would have chosen?

We're looking for a technical leader, not a technical ego.

[Hobby] Beginner Figma Designer — Voluntary Portfolio Practice Collaboration

Hi everyone,

We are a small software-development agency looking for one beginner or aspiring UI/UX designer who would like to create a conceptual website redesign for their portfolio.

Existing project and reference

Current Kaelor Technologies website:

This is a voluntary, unpaid and non-commercial portfolio-practice collaboration.

About the practice project

The selected participant will create an unofficial conceptual redesign of a homepage in Figma.

We will provide:

* The existing website as a reference * A list of design requirements * General creative direction * Feedback about areas that could be improved * Suggestions about what could be corrected or revised

We will not provide a complete Figma course or step-by-step technical training. You should already understand Figma’s basic interface and be willing to research unfamiliar features independently.

Minimum requirements

You should:

* Have used Figma before * Understand its basic interface and tools * Be interested in pursuing UI/UX design * Be willing to receive and apply feedback * Have patience, consistency and attention to detail * Demonstrate some awareness of layout, typography, colour and spacing

Professional experience is not required.

We welcome:

* Beginners and freshers * Students building design portfolios * Self-taught designers * Aspiring UI/UX designers * People who have completed personal, academic, volunteer, unpaid or commercial design projects

Experience with Auto Layout, components, variants and responsive design is helpful but not mandatory.

What you may practice

The conceptual project may involve:

* Improving typography, spacing and visual hierarchy * Redesigning website sections * Creating desktop, tablet and mobile layouts * Using Frames and Auto Layout * Creating reusable components and variants * Organizing typography, colour and spacing styles * Creating basic prototype interactions * Organizing a clean Figma file for developer handoff * Receiving and applying design feedback

Important conditions

* Participation is optional and unpaid. * This is not commercial or client work. * There are no required commercial deliverables, performance quotas or guaranteed outcomes. * You may display the project in your portfolio as an unofficial conceptual redesign. * We will provide direction and feedback, but not structured Figma lessons. * No new design sample or unpaid test is required during the application process.

Future paid opportunities

We are also evaluating designers for possible future project-based paid work.

Someone who demonstrates strong design judgment, communication, consistency and an ability to apply feedback may be more likely to be considered for a future paid project.

However:

* Participation does not guarantee employment or a paid contract. * We intend to select only one person for this practice collaboration. * If a future paid opportunity becomes available, we may hire only one designer. * We may select someone else or decide not to hire anyone. * Future selection will depend on design quality, project requirements, communication, availability and budget. * Any commercial work will require a separate written scope, payment agreement and contract before work begins.

How to apply

Please send:

  1. A short introduction
  2. Your current Figma experience
  3. One existing Figma, Behance, Dribbble or other design example, if available
  4. Details of any personal, academic, volunteer, unpaid or commercial project you have completed
  5. What area of UI/UX you are currently learning
  6. Your general availability
  7. Confirmation that you understand this is an optional, unpaid and non-commercial portfolio-practice collaboration with no guaranteed job

Please message us only if this arrangement genuinely matches your learning and portfolio goals.

Business Development Representative / Software Sales Partner (Long-Term Opportunity)

About Us

We are a software development agency specializing in custom web applications using technologies such as Node.js, React, TypeScript, Next.js, Laravel, PostgreSQL, and AI integrations.

Our goal is to build long-term relationships with businesses that need custom software solutions rather than selling one-off services.

---

What We're Looking For

This role goes beyond lead generation and appointment setting. We're looking for someone who can build relationships, conduct discovery conversations, understand business requirements, and collaborate with our technical team through the proposal stage.

We'll begin with a paid pilot project. If we're a good fit, we're interested in building a long-term partnership. Compensation structure (hourly, retainer, commission, or a hybrid model) can be discussed based on experience.

Have you managed client communication through the proposal stage, or until a software project was awarded? Please describe your role.

Excellent spoken and written English is essential, as you'll represent our agency directly with clients.

We are looking for someone who can become the front-facing business development representative for our agency.

Your role is to communicate with potential clients, understand their business challenges, gather project requirements, and work closely with our technical team throughout the sales process.

---

Your Responsibilities

• Identify companies that may benefit from custom software development.

• Research decision-makers (Founder, CEO, CTO, Head of Product, Operations Manager, etc.).

• Conduct personalized outreach through LinkedIn, email, and other appropriate channels.

• Follow up consistently with prospects.

• Qualify opportunities.

• Conduct discovery conversations.

• Understand the client's business goals and software requirements.

• Discuss the requirements privately with our technical team.

• Help prepare proposals together with our technical team.

• Continue managing client communication until the project is awarded.

Our technical team will handle:

• Technical architecture

• Project estimation

• Pricing

• Development

• Delivery

---

Ideal Experience

We strongly prefer candidates with experience selling one or more of the following:

• Custom Software Development

• SaaS

• IT Consulting

• AI Solutions

• Digital Transformation

• Enterprise Software

Experience communicating with founders, CTOs, executives, and business owners is highly preferred.

---

Required Skills

• Business Development

• B2B Sales

• Discovery Calls

• Lead Qualification

• Relationship Building

• CRM Management

• LinkedIn Outreach

• Cold Email

• Excellent English communication

---

Preferred Tools

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• LinkedIn Sales Navigator

• Apollo

• HubSpot

• Salesforce

• Pipedrive

• GoHighLevel

• ZoomInfo

• Hunter

---

Pilot Project

We would like to begin with a small paid pilot to evaluate our working relationship.

The goal of the pilot is to validate our target market, messaging, and communication process—not necessarily to guarantee closed deals.

If we work well together, we are interested in building a long-term partnership.

---

Please Answer These Questions

1. Have you previously sold software development, SaaS, or IT consulting services?

2. Describe one software or IT project you helped bring to a client.

3. Have you personally conducted discovery calls and gathered software project requirements?

4. What industries would you target first for our agency, and why?

5. Which CRM, outreach, and prospecting tools do you use?

6. What would your plan be during the first 20 hours of work?

7. Please share examples of similar work or case studies.

We value honesty, professionalism, and long-term collaboration. We would rather work with someone who sets realistic expectations than someone who promises unrealistic results.

---

A potential client asked me to build a website similar to SocialFastMM (SMM panel).

The client is new to software projects and doesn't have a budget in mind yet. At the moment, I only know that they want something similar to SocialFastMM, but I haven't received detailed requirements.

Assuming they want a complete SMM panel with features such as:

  • User registration/login
  • Wallet/balance system
  • Service ordering
  • Order tracking
  • Admin dashboard
  • Provider API integrations
  • Support/ticket system

What would you quote for:

  1. Development cost?
  2. Development timeline?
  3. Monthly maintenance/support?

Also, what are the biggest technical challenges or hidden requirements I should clarify with the client before providing an estimate?

Thanks!
