Keto ice cream: missing in action???

Is it just me and my area, or have all the keto ice cream brands become quietly *unavailable* with only their *non*-keto flavors available actually on the shelves?

Places I used to be able to get halo top and Nick's and others with keto friendly options slowly just stopped having those. The brands are there, but only the ones with too many actual carbs. Still better than the normal ice creams, but... I feel cheated.

Are you seeing the same thing, or is it just my area?

Countdown timer sometimes isn't accurate - help

Hi all, a while back I put together a simple countdown timer fusion clip and dropped it in my Master Bin because 8 use it a LOT.

I'm using the Text+ timecode and reverse speed method so that it is always adapted to the length of the clip.

BUT sometimes - not all the time - when I drag it into a project timeline it is simply incorrect about its own length. Its default length is 1hr (displaying only minutes), and that's the real time length the clip comes in with. BUT sometimes it'll display a very different number of remaining minutes. Yesterday it started at 72, today it was 47.

Sometimes, deleting and re-interesting the clip fixes it, but sometimes not.

Sometimes, opening it in Fusion and removing the TimeCode1 from the Text+ text field and putting it back (and resetting the displayed time code elements) works, and sometimes not.

I'm really confused as to why this is happening, why it's only "sometimes", and why solutions only sometimes work.

Thanks for your help!

Is it possible to create my own virtual singer, based on pre-existing recordings?

This question hasn't been asked in over a year here, so I'm wondering if anyone knows about any meaningful developments.

My sister is interested in trying to clone our father's singing voice, which he has lost almost completely due to lymphatic cancer (which is likely to take his life sometime this year).

He was quite a prolific singer in folk and church music, and she's trying to collect as many old recordings as she can find. The archive is the primary goal, but she would really be excited to be able to take that vocal data and see if she could keep singing "with him" in a manner of speaking, as she is switching from singer/songwriter hobbyist to career at this same time as she's losing one of her major musical inspirations.

I know that JimLapBap was considering something like this because of his progressive vocal cord damage, so I was wondering what options exist now, in a field that is advancing rapidly.

Most of the old posts' comments landed on DiffSinger w/ OpenUtau as the best option, but there were some issues with useability. And none of them addressed the "how" in a way that would clarify its usefulness to this situation where the human is no longer able to give a planned sample set.

Thank you all in advance for giving me some direction for this! It'll mean the world to my sister if she can make this happen.

Perhaps an unusual use case here!

I've been using Airtable for nearly a decade now, but for ONLY ONE, fairly straightforward purpose. I haven't needed to use any of the more advanced and interesting features before now.

I noticed a sample Table called "Novel Planning Template" and it REALLY got me thinking as I'm in the planning stages for a serious novel attempt!

I've been setting up a bunch of tables and so on, and even considering doing a large amount of the actual drafting inside Airtable.

What I was wondering is:

Is it possible to set up some kind of automation to pick up on things like character names (and nicknames) as I write scenes, and automatically link the "scene" record to those character records?

The character records would already exist, and I expect that I'd need to have a field somewhere for alternative versions (keywords) of the character's name(s).

Scenes would be their own records, with a long rich-text field, and a variety of linked record fields like characters, locations, important objects, and so on.

Some of those fields will always need to be manually linked - for instance when an important object is present but not mentioned in the scene text.

But it would be wonderful to take SOME of that manual work done for me!
