Timex just went all-in on integrated bracelets.
In the space of just five days, Timex launched three different integrated-bracelet watch lines — the E Line 38mm, Continental Chronograph 36mm, and the new Marbella.
Prices range from $209 to $399.
The interesting part isn't really any individual watch. It looks like Timex is deliberately attacking the affordable end of the segment that the Tissot PRX helped popularize.
The Marbella is especially interesting: 40.5mm, integrated H-link bracelet, blue textured dial, quartz, $219. That's less than half the price of the $450 PRX quartz.
Obviously, Timex cuts corners compared with the PRX, mineral crystal, 50m WR, etc. But at $219, does that actually matter?
I took a closer look at all three releases and what Timex might be trying to do with this strategy:

Would you take the Marbella or E Line over a PRX quartz?
