Are Saluki's Affectionate/Loving?

I've been interested in Saluki's but I heard from an owner of another primitive breed (an Ibizan) that primitive breeds don't love/bond with their owners. Is this true? I know sighthounds can be aloof, but I'm not sure I'd enjoy an animal that I felt truly did not care for me at all, how has your experience with Saluki's been?

I always have to pee

I constantly feel like I need to pee really badly, even if I just went pee. When I go pee these times not a lot of liquid comes out, certainly not enough to warrant the level of pressure I feel on my bladder. I can go pee and then leave the bathroom, just to have to squeeze my legs together because I have to go pee again just a few minutes later.

I don't feel any stinging, or blood, or anything, so I'm not sure if it's a UTI, but I'm not sure what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.

Are the photos on canva ai?

Are the photos in canva's elements section ai? I don't mean ones generated by the user, just the ones already available.

Books like Shy Girl?

I really liked the basic idea of Shy Girl's plot, at least from the summary I read, and it genuinely disappointed me immensely to find out it was written by ai. Are there any books similar to it that you'd recommend? Obviously NOT written w/ ai lol. I especially loved the animal aspect of it from what I heard, there's something very eerie and alluring to that kind of dynamic imo.

Is baskerville old face a readable font when printed?

I have a story for the Vampire Chronicles, the books specifically, not the tv show, that I'm binding (obviously lol) and I want it to have an old feel kind of gothic kind of font, and baskerville old face is perfect, but I'm not sure how well it reads once printed. Any advice?

Queer books in history?

Does anyone have any queer book recs from history? I'm talking about from 2000 and before. I find literature surrounding queer people in the 20th, 19th, 18th, 17th (and so on) century fascinating and I've read certain works with these 'taboos' but I'm curious if anyone has anymore?

Whether simply implied or subtext doesn't matter much to me, I simply find queer themes and stories fascinating, especially in times where they were not so accepted.

Edit: I don't mind stories that are not western or are from non-english speaking countries!! If I can find a translation, I'd be happy to read!!

I want to change paper size

I'm a hobbyist bookbinder, I'm trying to print a book on a5 paper to then fold to a6, however my printer which is a Canon MF-462dw II keeps saying I'm out of paper despite having a good amount of a5 paper in there. I know very little about printers, does anyone have any tips or explanations?

How thick can an a6 book be?

How thick can an a6 book be? I have a few like, 25-35k word fics that I think would be adorable in a small book, but I'm worried it'd be TOO thick lol.

Paper size question

I have a few one-shots about 4k-8k words and I want to turn them into small pamphlet binds but I'm not sure what size paper to use because I want them to be pretty small and pocket-sized.

Looking for a fanfic

There was this fic I read a long time ago where Jon touches a Leitner that makes everyone believe/treat him like a cat. He doesn't actually turn into a cat, everyone just thinks he's a cat. Does anyone have a link? I can't find it anymore.

How would you go about formatting a comic for print?

There's an online comic I would love to print, but I'm unsure how to go about the formatting, any advice would be appreciated.

Has anyone ever bound a comic?

A comic from the first fandom I was ever really in has finally finished, this is a comic that's been going on for a very long time and pretty infamous in my fandom as well. I'd love to have it as a physical book, if only for nostalgia, but I'm unsure if anyone has ever bound a fancomic?

I think this is the most fun hobby I've ever had

I like everything about it, even the parts I didn't think I would like typesetting. The more I learn and improve the more adventurous I get and the more fun it is, but even the physical aspects are fun too with a little music or a podcast. I was always determined to do this but I'm a little surprised about how much fun I'm having.

When I copy from html I lose italics/bolds

Whenever I copy a fic from html to my formatting site Libreoffice I lose all the italics, and I can't copy straight from ao3 because it also messes everything up, is there a way to fix this?

How to create cool covers?

I see a lot of binds with cool art, fanart, and amazing designs on the covers and I would LOVE to be able to do that as well, but I'm not sure how, especially for fabric covers. The design aspect it fine, but how do you get the art onto the cover and to look right? Does anyone have any tutorials or tips?

Should I split this fic into two novels?

One fic I really love is about 274,312 words and formatted is about 765 but might end up a few more because I'm adding in a glossary last minute (there's a lot of french phrases within it). I'm pretty set on it being one novel, but I'm not sure if that's too many pages for one book.

Does Openclipart use ai?

I wasn't really sure where else to post this question and I assume this is the best place. I'm very anti-ai, I don't like it and I don't like to use it and have no interest in debates. I've recently gotten into fanbinding and I use freesvg.org to source my graphics if I want my text/frontmatter to look a little extra nice. I see a lot of stuff uploaded from openclipart, and even though I stick to things published before 2022, I still find myself a little wary. Does openclipart allow or create ai art?

(I said I don't want to debate because I don't want to argue, I know I'm posting on an debating subreddit but I'm doing my best lol.)
