I've recently acquired all necessary components to make ECN2 dev, bleach and fixer. I followed the official recipe and it looks like it's working fine! I checked the pH and it seems well adjusted. I use the inversion technique and a Patterson tank.

Unfortunately I see splotches on the negatives, even in areas where there's no exposure (mostly visible at the end and start of a roll). On the images they aren't really visible, except for quite dark scenes.

My first thought was that they weren't bleached or fixed correctly, but I rebleached and refixed them without much change.

My second idea was not thoroughly mixed developer, but I was very careful in the second batch and mixed the contents very diligently.

Does anyone have an idea? I'm puzzled.

Hey guys, my Diamondtron stopped working all of a sudden. It slightly clicks repeatedly when I push the power button but there is no "klonk" that turns on the tube.

I assume the issue is with the PSU, but I cannot see any obvious fault. The capacitors look fine to me and not bulged.

Any idea?

Worked a bit on how to make the best out of a stack of Ektachrome 64 I picked up for cheap. It's a bit involved but I'm happy to share my findings.
