Home like daily food places in Sainath Nagar, Wadgaosheri??

Hii, I wanted to know some good places to go to eat or to parcel from, home like food, proper roti sabzi... For bachelors. Those provide monthly options or tiffins ones too... Any good food places, as I'm ordering a lot from Zomato and Swiggy, getting too costly without being at all healthy. Any places to go to eat or places that provide parcels or tiffins. Put in any places you've visited.

Also, HOME LIKE FOOD, I know that's not possible but fir bhi something close to that. Thank you so much already. 😊

What's this leak?

I could see a lot of oil around this area of the engine after the second service. I got my bike serviced and they said they'll fix this, but it started leaking in one day. What's the issue, any idea? Also what'd be the cost or will it be covered in warranty?

Petrol pump puzzle 🧩🤓 for all the smarties

If you have free time to spare, here,

Problem Statement:

A man fills petrol in his Hness and observes the following:

The fuel gauge before refilling shows 4 bars full and 2 bars empty.

The previous refill was done until the tank appeared full.

Trip A was reset to 0 km at that time.

Before today's refill, Trip A reads 135 km.

Trip A mileage shows 35 km/L.

The attendant fills petrol until auto-cut and then adds a little more.

The total amount charged is ₹732.

The man expected the refill amount to be approximately ₹450–₹500.

Checked 0.00 before refilling.

Find:

Whether the amount charged is reasonable, or whether the man has become a practical demonstration of consumer awareness failure.

Note: Suitable assumptions may be made. Additional data will be supplied if required.

Man, this is tough!

Seeing all the father's day's stories and msgs on family groups and here I'm feeling stuck. I love my father, and he loves me, our bond is amazing. But this, this is tough. Wishing him father's day is 😭. And I can't explain why. But I don't want him to feel bad as his child didn't wish him unlike others'. Is there a better way where he'll know I care without this formality 😭. I think I should just have a good chat with him (that's easier). Ahhh, what should I do? Am I the only one who faces this dilemma every year 😭.

PS: Omg I didn't know I could edit the post, thank you so much guys for all your comments, it was so much fun to hear from all of you, your stories. I WISHED MY DAD, if you are curious, you'll find my comment where I've screenshot his reply, he even sent a youtube short 😭🤌🏻🥹. I'm so overwhelmed with all these responses. Ahh, I'm so happy.

Need bike or car shine?

I bought this for 250₹ from petrol pump, got to know that this sells at 100-150₹ later. Tried it a couple of times and the shine was good. But I didn't find this product's reviews online, and didn't want to risk my new bike's paint. If anyone wants this, they can get it from me. If you feel like paying, you can pay or take it for free. It's almost full and taking up space from months. I am using the 3m wax for my bike now.

You'll have to collect it from somewhere in Sainath Nagar, Wadgaosheri. DM me if you need this.

Leads for a 10 seater with driver!??

I'm in Goa with my family. We want to explore the city tomorrow. Starting from Varca, at a stay, covering old goa church, mangeshi temple, shantadurga temple and any other good spots or places on the way, and then drop us near KTC Bus stop Madgaon. Is there a Winger or similar vehicle available, any leads would be a great help!! DRIVER IS MUST!!! We already have a quote for Winger AC at 7000. Which seems a little extra... As we will be leaving the hotel at around 9 am and we'll need to be at the bus stop after covering the places at 4:30 - 5:00 pm as we need to board our buses.

Thank you already 🫶🏻 Any leads would be great!!!

Istg ईमानदारी की कमाई is a myth atp. Oxygen Park, Wadgaosheri incident

So today I visited Oxygen Park in Wadgaon Sheri with my brother.

I've been there multiple times before, and I've never had to pay for parking. Today, however, there was this man, probably around 45-50 years old, dark complexion, moustache, belly sticking out a bit, carrying a danda/stick. As we were parking, he came up to us and told us to park at a different location right in front of the park.

Then he asked for ₹10 as a parking fee.

I was just about to pay, but then I remembered that I had never paid for parking here before. So I asked him when this parking charge started.

His answer was, "It was always there. We just don't collect it regularly."

That immediately felt suspicious.

I looked at the parking slip he was giving me. There was nothing on it that clearly connected it to the Oxygen Park. Then I noticed that he was asking people to pay on his own QR code, not on something that looked like an organization's QR code.

So I asked him a very simple question: "Who has given you the authority to collect this money?"

His response was, "दहा रुपये साठी तुला टेंडर दाखवू का मी?" (Should I show you the tender for just ₹10?)

At that point, I got even more suspicious.

I told him to wait there and that I'd go ask the authorities inside the park.

So I went inside looking for some office, some authority, some contact number, literally anything. There was nothing. No authority, no contact information, nothing I could find.

I came back out and asked a few other people around me whether they had paid for parking. Everyone of them said they hadn't.

So I went back to the man and again asked him how exactly he was authorized to collect parking charges.

This time he simply told me to take my bike out.

I didn't agree and went inside the park anyway.

I kept telling him that if he genuinely has the authority, then there should be some proof. A board. A permit. A contractor ID. An official receipt. Something.

Instead, whenever I asked for proof, he either got arrogant or avoided the question.

Now, yes, I did create a bit of a scene because this genuinely annoyed me. But as usual, nobody around seemed to care. Whether someone is being scammed or not, most people won't bother unless it personally affects them.

I was hoping at least someone else would question it, but nobody really did.

Eventually, I just told him, "काका, please stop doing this. This is a public place, and if you don't have proper authorization, you shouldn't be collecting money from people."

He ignored me and walked away.

Now before someone says "Why didn't you do something about it?", honestly, I don't live in the area and I don't want to get involved in unnecessary headaches over ₹10. That's not why I'm posting this.

I'm posting this because if you're visiting Oxygen Park and someone asks you for parking money, please ask for proof before paying.

Maybe there is some official arrangement and I simply couldn't verify it. If that's the case, I'd be happy to be corrected.

From the details mentioned, feel free to make your own judgment.

And if any locals know the proper authorities responsible for the park and want to look into it, feel free to do so. I'm not taking this any further.

Just wanted to share what happened so others can stay aware.

PS: Just one old uncle, when I told him that they're asking money for parking, in his proper Puneri marathi said, "एक थोबाडीत हाणा त्याच्या" 😭🤌🏻.

I'll go first, there's this shop called 'Shree Balaji Icecream', near Sainath Nagar chowk, wadgaosheri. The guy there is super sweet. Would always ask how you are, greet you with a smile. Amazing business model of making personal connect.

Pune to Panvel, 10 seats, options??

Part 2 of https://www.reddit.com/r/pune/s/0UwfxoLU8m

Thank you so much for your inputs.

Now we are planning to take the Tejas Express from Panvel to Goa. Got to know about its scenic route.

I wanted to know what's the best option to get to Panvel from Pune. Morning 6 AM is the train. I explored Uola-Ouber (it won't let me write the company name) intra-city and a 6 seater and a 4 seater quote to around 4500₹ but I am concerned about uncertainty. I also checked Savaari car, it'll go around 7000₹. What other options do I have? It's one way. Any leads are welcome. Thank you in advance.

Fair deal?? Better options??

I'm planning a 3 day trip to South Goa with my family. Total 10 people. We are thinking of a traveller or something. Got this quote for the Winger in photos. 40k + tolls + Driver food for 3 days. Trip dates 7, 8 and 9 June. Leaving early morning from Pune and leaving goa on the 9th evening. Is this a fair price? Any better options?? The vehicle must be clean and good. Let me know if you guys have any leads or if this quotation is more than it should be... First time planning so need help. Thank you in advance. 🫶🏻💗

South Goa experts please help!

Hi everyone! Need help planning my first-ever family trip to South Goa 🙏

We’re a group of 10 from Pune (9 adults + 1 kid) travelling around 7th–9th June. This is my first time planning a trip and I really want to make it memorable for my family.

Would love suggestions from people who’ve recently done South Goa:

• Best way from Pune → Goa by sleeper bus (where should we get dropped—Madgaon/Panjim?)

• From bus stop to hotel: easiest options for a group this big? taxi/tempo/self-drive?

• Best areas to stay in South Goa for family (Palolem / Colva / Benaulim / Agonda etc?)

• Hotel/Airbnb recommendations: clean + safe + decent, ideally pool / big family hall OR nearby rooms

• Budget target: under ₹10k per head total (water sports can be separate)

• Good 3-day itinerary in June/monsoon

• Beaches/places that are actually worth visiting with family

• Water sports: which ones are worth it + where?

• Best food setup for a big family—hotel meals vs beach shacks vs ordering?

• Easy transport within South Goa for sightseeing

We don’t want ultra-budget or luxury—just comfortable, safe, good value, and enough family time together.

June-specific tips also welcome (rain / sea conditions / what to avoid).

Would really appreciate any itinerary, hotel names, transport contacts, or “wish I knew this earlier” tips. Thanks ❤️
