Only ever had cockles in vinegar and was NOT a fan, bought these for my other half and oh my god. They’re so much nicer. Also have the smoked blue mussels on the go at the minute but he failed to tell me he’d already threw them in a pan 😭 but they are nice too.

Meaty mussels, not too much flavour of the oil until you actually taste the oil by itself and 😍😍 ate the mussels straight from the tin and keeping the oil to make something with on Monday.
A mid recommendation, think they were 9.95 a tin so not bank breaking
Boyfriend made us Thai red chicken curry using a mae jum paste and I don’t know how he managed to make it into soup. There was so much liquid left in the pan. But it was still delicious!
The sausage rolls were warm also. Alas I don’t rate Greggs sausage rolls, far too overrated
I ate them straight from the tin.
Meaty mussels, a hit of spice and not much garlic but overall 8/10 and would buy again. I think they were £7.95
Other than mackerel and sardines on toast and then the usual crusty bread. Always in awe at everyone posting their delicious recipes but I can’t bring myself to open a tin and try and make a meal with it in case I like the tin so much I wish I’d just raw dogged it 😭😂 but also just wouldn’t know where to start with actually doing things with them.
The Pepus mussels in escabeshe in the red box on the top left are going in a seafood pasta tomorrow with prawns, squid and a creamy sauce

I really want to keep it, I know it’s a weed, but will I regret not pulling it out? I’ve tried to google but can’t find what it actually is. Growing down the steps in my back garden.
Also don’t judge my steps, today has been the first time this summer it hasn’t been boiling hot and I’ve been off work and managed to get out into the garden, Sunday is the day for cleaning them. I promise.
To add, I don’t have any grass, plants or flowers in my garden for them to strangle. It’s all stones other than a couple of buckets right at the back of a long garden with potatoes in

Google says raspberry and I really hope not. But doesn't look like any of the raspberry younglings on images. It's in my veg patch so hopefully not raspberry as I don't like them and don't want it to take over 😭
