Is anyone else getting annoyed with Bandai's stranglehold on the U.S. market? Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful that Gachapon has caught on here; and that we have so many places with machines now. But it's very frustrating when every time I look someplace new (a mall, an Asian marketplace, ect.) it's always Bandai, Bandai, Bandai, Bandai!

They have some nice properties, but they don't hold some of the popular ones like Pokémon, Disney, Yu-gi-oh!, Spider-Man/other Marvel/DC heroes, Sonic, and many, many video games.

Am I the only one who feels this way? Maybe I'm just spoiled, but it'd be really nice if I heard of a new place opening that had Tomy, Kaiyodo, and other toy brands as well.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I'm trying to plan my first FE trip, but when I go to the official website, all the scheduled events only list their start times, and not their end times- is this normal?

Do I just assume all events are exactly the same (half-an-hour, a full hour, ect.)? It's rather weird that they've left out this important detail, and it's making it harder for me to plan things... any help is appreciated!

I recently visited the Gurnee, IL location for my birthday; and ended up just under 1,000 points short for the prize I wanted. I'm going back tomorrow- usually I go for coin pushers, but I don't want to commit to finishing a full set of cards when I need less than 1,000 points.

Are there any games you'd recommend for some quick ticket pick-up?

Games I've Tried: Last visit I tried Pirate's Wheel (wasn't worth it) and Ticket Master (made a decent amount, might play that one again).

Games I Won't Try: I'm not very good at physical games, so nothing where you have to throw a basketball through a hoop, for example.

Any advice is much appreciated, thank you!

Just curious if there's still things like Pringles and facial tissue in their crane games- I'd like to go there for my birthday (mid-July) but I'm not driving two hours for baby wipes!

Evidently after our last mailman retired (hi Larry, you're still awesome!), USPS didn't see the need to find someone to fill his route. So now our mail only arrives sporadically- meaning we'll sometimes go up to three days without pickup or delivery.

Not a big problem- unless you're disabled and make a living selling stuff on eBay. -.-

And evidently as a 'federal' service, there's nothing that we can do about it. Jack. spit.
