BAN META GLASSES

The other day I was at Target and this guy approached me, he had glasses on so I was skeptical of him but as I looked closer I didn’t see a flashing light so I thought I was safe. Turns out, HE WAS FILMING OUR WHOLE INTERACTION AND POSTED IT TO INSTAGRAM REELS! I don’t have instagram so I only found out literally 10 minutes ago because a friend sent the video to me. I’m actually so pissed, the video got 20k likes and over 100k views which means over 100k people saw a video of me without my consent. Luckily there weren’t any hate comments, but it still irritated me because why would you do that? When has it become normalized to post people online without their consent or knowledge?

And he literally had my number so he could’ve texted me to ask me if I was okay with him posting it. Fuck him seriously #blocked

Edit: GUYS THE VIDEO WAS TAKEN DOWN!! I don’t know if he deleted it or if instagram deleted it, but it’s no longer up!!

When people comment sad things on happy social media posts

“Guys look at this happy video of me and my dad! I love him so much.”

“Oh my dad died/left/my moms are lesbians and I was conceived through a sperm donor/has cancer and I wish I could do these things with him. :(“

“Me and my dog!!! He’s 12 years old!”

“My dog just died at 12 years old :((“

“Happy Mother’s Day! My mom and I went out to brunch!”

“My mom just got hit by a bus but okay”

Oh my goddddddddd pleaseeeeeee stop making another persons happy moment about yourself!!!!

No one should say the n-word

I’m saying this as a black person, the n-word genuinely shouldn’t be as normalized as it is. I understand WHY it was reclaimed, but considering the history of the word it just doesn’t sound good coming out of anyone’s mouths.

It’s gotten to the point where I avoid people who use that word in EVERY. SINGLE. SENTENCE. It’s a filler word for them and that’s crazy to me. No I am not your n-word, please stfu.

Edit: Before this turns into a trump rally I’d like to say that I am very problack and the entire reason I hate the nword is because I’m problack! I find it degrading, and I think that it should be eliminated from the English language as a whole. There are racial slurs for black people in almost every language, so I don’t understand why my community loves to use the English version of it.

And no Kyle, a black person saying they hate the nword does not mean they think white people should say it too.

I don’t understand when people find pride in a celebrity dating someone that looks like them.

Like, why are we coming online and saying “this is a win for the brunettes” or “I’m so happy ___ is dating a tall girl?” It’s so stupid to me. Why does it matter who they date? Even if they were to date the opposite of you, it’s not like you had a chance anyways.

Criticizing obese people for existing is NOT saving them from their condition.

I’m so sick of seeing people attacking fat people for living their lives. A fat person posting their outfit isn’t them promoting an unhealthy lifestyle, they’re literally just trying to be regular humans. Not only is the constant criticism dehumanizing, it’s also just a way for people to feel better about how hateful they truly are.

“I’m just trying to help them”

Translating…

“I think they’re undeserving of a happy life because of the way they look, but I’m going to disguise my bigotry behind fake concern because it makes me look better.”

And no, I’m not fat or obese. I eat healthy and I exercise, I’m just not a terrible person.

My entire life my mother has been an aggressive alcoholic, and I’ve been distancing myself from her the past couple of years because I can’t stand to be around her when she’s drunk, and she’s ALWAYS drunk.
Lately, I’ve been having dreams about her every night. Sometimes she yells at me, sometimes we're just hanging out, and last night I had a dream that we were in a helicopter and it crashed. It’s really weird. Is it my subconscious telling me to go see her?
