Costochondritis every time I start exercising again. What am I doing wrong?
Does anyone else get costochondritis every single time they get back into exercise?
I’m pretty sedentary, and every time I start being active again, usually after 1-2 weeks of walking a lot or doing some light jogging, I end up with costochondritis.
Then I have to stop exercising for weeks, which completely ruins my progress and motivation.
It’s become a vicious cycle because I start exercising, get chest pain, rest for weeks, start again, and the same thing happens.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to prevent this from happening when getting back into fitness?
Thanks in advance!
Any update on Prison Architect 2 ?
I check but don’t see any info since few months…
Has anyone with POTS actually improved their exercise tolerance over time?
I have POTS and I’ve been trying to exercise consistently for months. Nothing intense, just walking on a walking pad with a slight incline for 40-60 minutes every 3-4 days.
During exercise, my heart rate is usually around 140-150 bpm (zone 2/3 for me), and I often feel awful afterward. The most frustrating part is that I don’t seem to be improving at all. If anything I sometimes feel worse than when I started.
I always hear that with regular exercise people with POTS can slowly build up their tolerance and see improvements over time, but that just hasn’t been my experience.
Has anyone here actually seen a real improvement in their heart rate, symptoms, or overall fitness after several months of consistent exercise? If so, what kind of exercise program worked for you and how long did it take?
Thanks in advance 🙏
EDIT: thanks all for all your responses, this community so great
Any way to make Apple Watch check heart rate every second or every minute?
Hi there,
I just got the Apple Watch Series 11 and I’m honestly surprised by the heart-rate tracking. I’m coming from a low-tier Huawei watch, and it had 24/7 every second/minutes heart-rate monitoring that worked well and felt pretty accurate.
On my Apple Watch I sometimes see “last reading 18 minutes ago,” which is weird to me, especially because I have a heart condition and like to keep an eye on my heart rate.
Is there any workaround to get more frequent monitoring, ideally 24/7, or at least something like one reading per minute outside of workouts?
Thanks!

A better screen, but what else ? Coming from a Fit 4 pro, seem like there almost no improvement, or maybe I’m missing something.
I hope they gonna fix the sleep detector because it was terrible on the fit 4 compared to the 3.
I try every stream available but the subtitle (French in my case) keep getting randomly delayed, I have have to move the delay second button while watching. It’s happen all the time, is there any solutions ?!
I’m running into a weird issue with passkey authentication using QR code (cross-device login with iPhone).
On Windows, using Chromium, everything works perfectly. I scan the QR code with my iPhone and the login completes instantly.
BUT, on macOS, using Chromium as well, it doesn’t work at all. The QR code scans, but then it just keeps loading and eventually shows an error saying to check my internet connection and enable Bluetooth on both devices (screenshot attach) even though Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled on both my Mac and iPhone.
What’s strange is:
- Same account
- Same iPhone
- Same network
- Same Chromium setup (as close as possible)
Also, if I use Safari on macOS, it works perfectly. So the issue seems specific to Chromium on Mac.
I also tested on a WebAuthn demo site and I get the same problem there, so it doesn’t seem to be specific to one service (like in my case Okta).
Has anyone experienced this? Is this a known limitation of Chromium on macOS with passkeys / cross-device authentication? I would really appreciate if someone had a solution for this.
Thanks !
Edit: translation of the French error after I try to scan QR code: An error occurred. Check your internet connection and enable Bluetooth on both devices, then try again.
