I never really had high expectations for Ichigo’s Bankai to begin with, but after episode 4, I’m starting to feel like they’re not going to add anything meaningful to the fights. They really fumbled episode 4. It could’ve been so much better if they had just expanded Gerard’s fight a little, but instead, they barely did anything with it.

And those rumors about Cour 4 having a lot of anime-original content are starting to look like complete bullshit. At this point, I’ve pretty much lost all hope that they’re going to make any major changes to the ending.

I hate the idea that reiatsu always overcomes hax, especially when people in this sub treat it like it's a universal rule during discussions.

The problem is that many people treat the idea that reiatsu can overpower hax as if it's a universal rule that applies to every fight in Bleach, when that's rarely the case. Even when it does happen, it's usually in battles between Shinigami, not something that applies across the entire series.

Most Bleach fights aren't decided by spiritual power alone. Abilities, how they're used, strategy, matchups, and the circumstances of the fight all play a major role in determining the outcome. That's why the claim that "reiatsu always beats hax" is a huge oversimplification of Kubo's power system.

I think this is the final stage of Zanpakuto's evolution, and they might reach this form in the next arc.

Did Kubo retcon this concept in tybw?

If the True Shikai form is stronger than the Dangai or even the Mugetsu form, why were characters so much weaker than Ichigo able to harm him? Is there are any explanation for this?
