Reduced interest or … not?

Recently received my Notice of Reassessment and wondered if anyone else has seen a paragraph like this:

After reviewing your request, we reduced the arrears interest charged on this return earlier from $0.00 to $152.62. Since we did this under the taxpayer relief provisions of the Income Tax Act, you cannot file an objection to this change.

The amount appears as a DR. I had time so I called and asked. Response: it’s a copy paste error.

Jungfrau Placemat - help please

I have an odd request and I’m throwing this out there as a Hail Mary. I recently took my 85 year old dad for a short trip to this area. He has been constantly talking about how much he regrets not taking his placement (like the one in this image I found online) to show his friends back home in Canada. I can’t seem to locate one online. Is there by any chance anyone out there who works in the Jungfrau area that could mail me one of these? I feel like they are quite common in the local restaurants.

I’d be ever so grateful and will send postage money.

I think it might be age related but he keeps talking about it and it’s breaking my heart. Thanks for any help!

Really DHL?

I was taking the paper down to the recycling and noticed this. No card just slapped on the back page of Der Sonntag. Nice.

Marder

Has anyone been successful fighting this battle? Our car is leased and I’m not sure if we can install a device that shocks them. Skoda wasn’t much help. I’m surprised it ventured into an underground garage.

Rental damage - is this fixable?

We recently rented a campervan and hit a pole screwed into a concrete wall. It was completely in the blindspot and the owner laughed and said it happens all the time and pointed to the tiny pole with the screw hanging out. It’s a Ford Transit chassis. The rental company told us it will need an entirely new bumper. We have insurance but with an €800 deductible. Is this repairable? I don’t have a choice in the matter I’m sure but I’m curious. Thanks in advance.
