Carbon fiber lemans wing

Good afternoon,

A few months back, a local 944 owner commissioned us to build a custom Le Mans-style rear wing in carbon fiber and we want you to be a part of it. Given the response and interest, we’ve decided to put this unit into production and open pre-orders up to the community.

The Goal: Deliver a high quality and high performance, streamlined without the hassle of overseas freight, tariffs, or bodywork modification.

Key Features & Specs:
- Direct Bolt-On: Uses factory mounting hardware and original gaskets. No drilling required.
- American Made: Manufactured locally in the US to eliminate international shipping fees and import tariffs, and we're passing those savings on to you.

- Track Ready Hardware: Designed with custom carbon fiber-reinforced rivnut connections for a clean, lightweight aesthetic that holds up to real downforce.

We are actively finishing up the development phase and expect to have a working prototype mounted on a test car shortly. Pre-orders will open in the coming months.

We'd love to hear any feedback on any other features we could add, and if you're interested in grabbing a spot on the pre-order list, be sure to let us know.

Survey!!

Am I screwed?

Two years ago I was on a railhead in Texas and received the Texas medal of merit because as the captain, who is in charge of us, put it “If you’re in Texas we’re gonna give you a Texas award.” The problem comes that I am not in the Texas guard And when I got back to my home state, I checked my iPerms and the memo for the award was not posted and when I asked my RNCO He said he would reach out to the unit we were working under to get it fixed. Nothing ever showed up, but I was just told to wear the award because I had photos of the awards ceremony. Now I have switched units and they said I cannot wear the award unless I have the paperwork. ( I now understand this was the correct answer and my previous unit was wrong. ) With it being 2 years ago and in another state and unit I have no idea if there is a real possibility for me to get my records corrected to show the award.

Clog help!!!!

I have a SV08 Max was printing Sovol black PLA. First layer was 230 and layers after that were 215. I did have a prior issue with it having heat creep because my business partner set the machine for first layer 250 and every other layer 230. The machine gave me another clogged message, but I’ve tried hot, pulling and cold pulling and all it’s done is break off right above the extruder I’m using the 0.8 bondtech nozzle. I pulled the release lever when trying to pull the filling out and when I try to use the extrude feature, I can see the gears moving and the filament wobbles, but nothing is coming out the nozzle. If I sent the temp to 250 a slow drip of filament comes out the bottom. At this point, I’m fully lost on what to do.

am i cooked?

I'm currently entering the second semester of my junior year this fall. I originally wanted to go to school for an ME degree, but the school I chose for scholarship reasons did not have an ME program. The closest degree was applied physics, and I could take electives related to ME. I'm currently working on getting as many certifications in as many useful programs as I can find (mainly different CAD and scanning software). Due to obligations tied to the conditions of my scholarship, I have not been able to attend any summer internships and don't have any time in my schedule that allows for a part-time job during the semester. I'm trying to offset my lack of experience by adding as many personal projects as I can to my resume. I run a small business that remanufactures discontinued car parts or creates custom ones. How cooked am I when it comes to finding an engineering job after college? The business is going good for now, but I have a family to feed and need to have a backup plan.

is this cringe?

Currently, I'm a cadet who is former enlisted member. My brother asked me to officiate at his wedding and wear my pinks and greens. My question is, is this even allowed, and how cringe is this?

Great great grandfathers medals

Photo above is the medals I do have. on his obituary it states he received the argonne medal from the French government. I’m currently trying to find either a replica or a original version of this medal to add to the collection. He was in battery C of the 21st field artillery, fifth infantry division, and was a Signal men that ran telegram wires. Is there any other unit or personal words he would have qualified for? I have the paperwork for his verdun medal. His Purple Heart has his name on the back of it.
