Me when they announce a big rock that never lands in the end
Petition to remove the "savage slayer" flair from the belges
World cup is over and the flair is not insulting.
Also they should ask it themselves.
I am angry.
Ei, sé que hay pique entre España y Latam, pero me alegro que coincidamos en la final, os dejo esta chorradita que he retocado en la imagen que otro se ha currado y está guapa. Que gane el mejor!
I know it is made for multi, but for casuals like me are there expansions of this mod that adds the leader faces? I know at least some of theses civs have leaders and not white screens
Hard to get into it otherwise.
My best after five days of studying faces
Translation of notes from left to right and from up to down:
"Hair looks bad"
"Forehead should be taller"
"Shadows are terrible"
I used the technique of the circles and the lines but I don't think I grasp it very well yet.
This is (supposed to be) Maia Rua from Pillars of Eternity 2.
So I made a Skyrim party and I want to just babble, feel free to discuss, read or ignore
I have been theorising builds more than I have played this game by far. It also takes time to take images from google then resizing them. I could have used AI and I have not real problems with it but I rather not using it by default.
It's also so much fun to imagine how would a character from a game be in another one. This idea was inspired by the first level chanter when I was imagining a 3 chanter and 3 paladins party build, which I was going to call "The chant pals". It was not so good but oh well, the spell in the first level that pushes, damages and makes enemies dizzy is so alike "Fus" that my mind kept imagining. Then I took my favourite character from every faction and started on thinking. I don't think these will be the best possible builds but it feels enough for beating the game, hopefully xD
My canon dovahkiin has always been a breton woman tank. So she became the first tank that can do a bit of a lot but is not the expert at anything. She also has her "shouts" that need recharging.
Lydia is a dedicated tank, much like Edér. The image I found on internet is not very much like the Lydia I see in the game, but it's okay. She had to be in the party, as I think she's basically the most common follower and in my canon >!she betrays Balgruff for you when invading his city!<.
Aela like a druid was more interesting than I thought at first. Casting spells is not very much like Aela, but the cat form is truly similar to her transformation (more than wolf, ironically). I ended up thinking she is better using bow, casting spells sometimes and transforming while in melee. It feels more natural than in Skyrim, where she never transforms. And she ends up being the companion with whom you work the most.
J'zargo feels more like a pal than any of the other Skyrim NPC. Of course he had to be a mage and make an orlan, since it's the most khajiit-like character. He'd be a debuffer through and through. He seems to be more the kind of a damage caster in Skyrim, but magic is very limited in that game.
Isran is the perfect priest. In Skyrim he leads the Dawnguard. I also always liked his demeanor, being open minded. I have a hard time siding with vampires in the dlc, frankly. In this game, with the guls and fampyres you find it feels good to include. He also uses a crossbow now.
Karliah is the stealth archer of the game if you will. In combination with J'zargo's debuffing she can do quite a lot of damage. I am not sure if as the game advances she'll lose utility. I hope not.
And yeah, that is the game I hope I will stick to. I am not far from Raedrick, fighting this time instead of stealthing as I usually do. Using random made characters that have pretty stats but no personality has lost its charm in me. Which is why I end up rerolling and restarting so much. Does this happen to you too? The endless restarting or the imagining of chars from other games?
Since I am in vacation right now, I intend to finish this on hard and learn how mechanics of the game work. I do not intend to post anymore of this party but if you want to, I could post the final builds when I am done or anything.

Deity fighting and surviving
About a year ago, I won a deity game focusing only on science and food in a tradition game. I used all my money to bribe Shaka so he fights everyone, no faith, fought culture unhappiness with troops against revolts and investing in happiness buildings heavily. So I befriended Shaka with unfair trading (unfair for me) and gave him a lot every time someone approached with troops or denounced me. Also not a lot of diplomacy, since the warmonger rivals wiped city states out, so there was no point in that. Had to take a hit when resolutions were unfavourable.
That being said, I won by science because the 2 major culture civs were unable to win. While a win is a win, it felt pretty underwhelming, I won because AI is stupid. How do people dominate in deity? In the beginning you get wiped out unless you invest in army and have some mountains and in the industrialisation hapiness kills all your advances.
3 paladins and 3 chanters?
I've been imagining scenarios more than I actually play this game, so this may be dumb. I was thinking... Since paladins and chanters both have passive buffs that affect others (auras and chants), can a group of 3 pals and 3 chants buff each other to make everyone OP?
I see more discussions about the main character than party ideas here. I know the npcs are more than enough to beat the game, but still.
My Konosuba party obliterated the salamanders
Getting out of the stairs started a hard fight, but with ice protection, some traps and lots of fireballs, it was pretty easy.
My Konosuba party, with lots of complications, cleared Dorn's Deep
I've found many enemies with magic resistance that rendered Megumin very low on usefulness, which is very annoying since Megumin's magic should be invincible. I am considering making her learn lower magic resistances, but I am unsure. Have to think about it.
In comparison, the lich boss was super easy. Just put Aqua to her side and expel undead, see them cower or explode after invocation, while the others deal with finding the filactery. The lich itself didn't cower nor explode though, that would have been very funny.
Also, I went to the expansion, got pounded to a pulp immediately. Decided to finish the main game first, then we'll see.
