my final sound design video
This will most likely be my final sound design post.
To be honest, working on sound design has started to become exhausting for me, and I feel like I need to step away from this community and my other social platforms for a while. I wanted to create this video as a final project to close out this chapter and leave behind something I’m proud of.
I would really appreciate any honest feedback on this video. Whether you have criticism, suggestions, or thoughts on what I could have improved, I’m open to hearing them.
Thank you to everyone who has supported my work, followed my progress, and encouraged me throughout this journey. I truly appreciate all the time and support you’ve given me.
I know some of you sound designers might not really care, and that’s completely fine. Everyone has their own interests and priorities.
I’m just sharing this because this project means something to me, and I wanted to end this chapter by putting my best effort into it. Any feedback or thoughts are still appreciated.
Crimson moon (fire force) sound redesign, whats your guys thoughts on this so far

My last time talking about my "Honest Thoughts on Fire Force" post, which I made a month ago.
A month ago, I made a post sharing my honest thoughts on Fire Force and why I didn't enjoy it as much as a lot of other people. Some people respected my opinion, made valid points, and gave good criticism, and I genuinely appreciate that. Others, however, just dismissed or hated my post simply because I was brutally honest about how I felt.
I'll say this: not everyone is going to agree with what you say, and that's okay. Art is subjective. Everything in life is subjective. If you enjoy Fire Force, that's completely fine. You can glaze the series all you want, but you also have to realize that not everyone is going to enjoy the same things you do.
One thing I also wanted to explain is why I never really cared about the characters emotionally. This is one of the biggest reasons the series didn't click with me. For me:
- I never became emotionally attached to characters like Shinra, Tamaki, Benimaru, Charon, or most of the main cast.
- A lot of them felt cool on the surface, but I rarely felt like there was enough depth for me to become invested in them.
- Their personalities didn't leave much of an emotional impact on me, so I wasn't very interested in their struggles or outcomes.
- When emotional scenes happened, they didn't really affect me because I never formed a strong connection with the characters beforehand.
- Some serious moments were interrupted by comedy or fan service, which made it harder for those scenes to land emotionally.
- I enjoyed some of the fights and abilities, but cool action alone wasn't enough to make me care about the characters themselves.
As for Soul Eater (the anime version), The reason I don't really bring it up from my other post is because that's not my issue. Personally, I enjoy Soul Eater. I think the concept is cool, the art style is unique, the character relationships are well done, the development is solid, and it actually made me feel emotional.
And yes, before anyone says it, I don't have a problem with fan service. I actually enjoy fan service when it's done well. My issue with Fire Force is the execution. The fan service never landed for me and often interrupted moments that were supposed to be serious. I know people bring up Tamaki's "Lucky Lecher Lure" as an explanation, but honestly, I don't care. It just doesn't work for me.
At the end of the day, I'm not hating on anyone who enjoys Fire Force. If you love it, that's great. I'm glad you got something out of it that I didn't. People have different opinions and different experiences with media, and that's completely normal. Art is subjective, and that's what makes discussions about it interesting.
Y'all have a good one. >w<
everyone said that my old gojo purple sound redesign was bland so i improve it and add more extreme and exaggerated a lot more.
thoughts on this version good or ass
what I can honestly say about loli/shota’s
Lolicons and Shotacon content is genuinely weird and uncomfortable to me. Personally, I don’t support it, I don’t enjoy it, and I’m not sorry for feeling that way. I understand that it’s a highly divisive topic in anime, manga, and online communities, but for me, the heavy sexualization of characters who are designed to look and act like young children crosses a line I’m not willing to ignore.
Some people defend it by saying “it’s just fiction,” “it’s only drawings,” or “no real children are harmed.” I get the logical point they’re making—there is a distinction between fantasy and reality. But that argument doesn’t erase my discomfort. For many of us, the visual and thematic elements still evoke the idea of children in sexual contexts, and that feels deeply off-putting, regardless of the medium or the age of the fictional characters. It’s not about being a prude or trying to police what others consume; it’s about personal boundaries. Everyone has them, and this one is mine.
I also want to acknowledge something important: there are real people who naturally look much younger than their actual age (I’m literally one of them). That lived experience makes the whole topic even more complicated for me. While that’s somewhat off-topic from pure fiction, it does highlight how strongly our brains associate certain appearances with youth and vulnerability.
That said, I’m not here to attack or shame anyone. If you’re a loli or shota enjoyer, I’m actually curious: what draws you to it beyond “it’s fictional and not real”? I’m genuinely interested in hearing more nuanced reasons—whether it’s about aesthetics, escapism, power dynamics, nostalgia, character archetypes, or something else entirely. I won’t pretend I’ll suddenly like it, but understanding the “why” behind preferences different from my own helps bridge gaps instead of just yelling past each other.
At the end of the day, adults are allowed to have their own preferences and kinks, even the ones I find strange or distasteful. I’m not trying to ban anything or cancel anyone. I just reserve the right to find certain content off-putting, to avoid it, and to be honest about why. Live and let live applies both ways—people can create and enjoy what they want in their own spaces, and others can choose to steer clear without being labeled as puritans or moral crusaders.
Preferences aren’t universal. Respecting that reality goes a long way.
Hello y’all, I’m actually going to make sound designs for all the Stands from the Jorge Joestar novel. I’m starting with The World Ultimate, and I’d like to hear your thoughts on how I should approach the sound effects.
How would you design them while still keeping the original anime SFX intact? Any ideas are welcome.
