Need every tip to start a tank

No where near starting the process, doing lots of research before hand but im used to fish and realising now that its more different than i thought.

They will be in a seperate tank (obviously,) with low water, so how am i meant to heat this water and filter it with such low levels?

How do i begin to create a good land space such as how to build the base and what plants are the best?

Just literally give me the biggest rant on every little thing please! every tiny detail on how to create the perfect tank, i know the very basics but i dont want the bare minimum

Suspiciously plump, not moving way too much and facing downwards?

my sister fed my fish while i was away so they might just be very overfed but im quite concered as it is not moving very much? others are absolutely fine and normal, and i put my net in to see if it would swim away and it did, but the second i took the net away it stopped swimming and continued facing down

whats going on? just really full or more?

Question: Can i bring a friend to tattoo appointments?

Is it seen as weird/annoying to bring someone to a tattoo appointment? its my first one and he 100% wouldnt be in the way (as much as he could be.)

Iv asked my tattoo artist and im waiting for a reply but i want to double check its not seen as rude and hes saying yes because its easier than saying no/could be seen as rude.

Not bringing them for moral support or anything, theyre staying at mine and i dont want to ditch them at mine for hours while i get it done.

Update on the overpopulation.

Saw a snail problem was iminent a few weeks ago, i stayed out for a night and my sister decided to feed the fish even though i would be back in time (its okay its thoughtful.)

Entire bottom of the tank and every plant was COVERED in food.

Since then my snail problem has been absolutely rampant.

I scooped out all i could of the food but there was still quite a bit, i then noticed that there was that brown stuff on the floor, but i thought the snails and john can have at it and then it will probebly go and all will be good.

Wrong. The brown stuff hasnt gone, they have just taken the opportunity to multiply and now i dont want to get rid of them so i cant scoop it all up without a few friendly fires

My tank actually seems very healthy after the incedent, especially no fat fishes.

My question is, what is this brown stuff? do i get rid of it? and how do i slow down the snail population rates? i actually dont mind them but i dont know how damaging it can be to the tank, also my beta wont eat the eggs for some reason so i cant rely on that as a solution

I feel like a child when i speak to people

for some reason i literally feel like a 6 year old when i talk to anyone but my boyfriend and friends.

Dont know why. I saw someone say go befriend employees at aquarium shops to talk about ur fish with and it flashed into my head and i realised i feel like a 10 year old embarrassing myself whenever i talk to anyone at all.

I feel so much less than everyone around me, maybe not 10, maybe genuinely just a feeling of being pathetic and below everyone that makes me think “like a child trying to make friends.”

I went into a shop before and i always say “ill wait to see if it works” with a laugh when i use my card so i can have something to say without being overly friendly. And i feel like an absolute nugget? Even looking back at how i smiled too big when it worked

Family members? I feel like im trying to get a seat at the grownup table when i interact with any of them

Why are humans so dumb?

Why do we get absolutely wasted and then drink 2 days later?? even addiction aside, people will have terrible experiences like end up cuddlinh a homeless man in his pee soaked sleeping bag and still go on a night out.

why?!? as with all substances, how can one have so many absolutely atrocious experiences and be so chuffed about their next drink (or other things) the second all symptoms ware off?

atleast 30 times now i have done the usual go in my notes app or a straight up note book and write “never drink again.” And yet, right back at it 4 days later.

what will finally deter me

I feel like i am losing my mind and know no more solutions to this

To clarify, not violent, I dont scream, not explosive anger.

Iv had depression and anxiety for years and been suicidal for 90% of it, tried so many forms of therapy, all the medication thats available for me, i have changed everything about my life and im surrounded by great friends, no longer in a bad relationship and no bad habits.

My biggest problem is that i am so sensitive, i feel like im actually crazy. I am not and never have been violent, or snappy, or agressive so its not that type of anger. But its like everything effects me so deeply its unbearable.
It feels like a festering pain in my body, like a physical sickness that i need to stop any way i can.

My boyfriend gets the brunt of it, lost my cool a few times but theres only one occasion where i wasnt nice at all. Because hes the only person im open with hes the only person who sees it.

But its like every week i lose my mind and all i can feel is the need to get rid of the feeling however i can, its a physical pain that takes my breath away, it makes my chest hurt and my body ache and the type of pain that makes you just curl up into a ball and cry.

I dont sit there at night and feel depressed and think nothing will ever be better. i feel like i need to get rid of the feeling because its so unbearable, its such an overwhelmingly horrible feeling that all i can think is all the ways i can solve that problem.

Theres no just breath and calm down, i can sit there and do breathing exersises for hours and feel exactly the same. Go on a walk and feel the same. Have a shower and feel the same. I feel like a lost cause, and i think people dont grasp that i have perfected every single tequnique iv been taught in every type of therapy, it doesnt work for me in any way.

What can i even do now

I basically have a snail farm?

No photo attached of them because theyre all absolutely tiny and scattered around, so my beta instead.

I bought a peice of bog wood weeks ago, along with a few other plants, and had my tank fish free for a long time before i bought anything properly living.

I noticed two snails, which must have been on the plants. About a month later i bought my fish, then another month later, over 40 snail babies that i can see.

Not sure if my beta will just eat them (which i have no problem with) or if i need to do something about it??
and what would that be?

Im not sure if i should get a seperate tank and just let some live there but even then, i dont want to end up with another 40 that i cannot home?

Do i have to keep massacring snail offspring every month?

Is this a good tank for a betta?

Its a 30 litre tank with 7 different plants, a moss ball, a few smooth rocks and the basics (heater, thermostat, oxygen thing, filter.)

It would have many hiding places with how many plants there is, but should i get some plastic sort of thing for it to hide in? Will it be bored!? This is the bare minimum but what extra could i add for an extra happy fish

Is the multiplayer option just for friends?

I tried to go on this thinking i might join an already set world and play with random people but im a bit confused by it. What is that feature? Do i need to have a friend who i invite in to play with?

Need advice!

Never owned fish before, I have bought a 40L fish tank with a heater and filter and i will buy an oxygen thing! What im wondering is the best pairs/ numbers. I would like to have one little blood red shrimp, but are they better in pairs/ groups? I also would like two small fishes that dont grow past 3” but is the tank too big for only three little fish? Im not sure which little fishes work well in smaller ammounts, but also not sure the max i should put in a 45L tank, im just assuming 3 for now. I also wouldnt mind having one bigger fish if it prefered solitude and also fit very comfortably in the tank.
