26F - if we share any interests let's be friends
Hi! I'm coming out of a somewhat reclusive period of life and I want to make some new friends. That said, I'm not really looking for shallow, small talk friendships so the best way to connect is if we have at least something in common. I'm interested in many topics like science, philosophy, psychology, self-improvement, writing, chess etc. I can also be many things to many people: to the intellectuals I'm an always-willing debate partner, to the crazy ones I'm their partner in crime, to the funny ones I'm the clown from a rival circus, and to the boring ones, know I won't carry this convo -_- All this to say, I tend to match people's energy and enthusiasm. If any of this sounds interesting to you feel free to message and tell me a bit about yourself :)
How do RELIGIOUS 8s square who they are with religion?
And I know what most of this sub is gonna say: I would never be religious, religions are just a bunch of bs...blah blah blah Then this post ISN'T for you! I'm specifically asking 8s who ARE religious. Because here's my conundrum: 8 is all about doing whatever we want, right, and we aren't so concerned about morality and we don't feel much guilt...if any. But for someone to be religious they have to constantly think about their relationship to the "higher ideal" and they would need to feel guilty when they don't match that ideal. And EVEN WORSE, if someone is a Christian 8, how does that even work? The ideal of Christianity is literally all opposite to 8s: you need to be meek, let people walk all over you, feel guilty for your sins - how does an 8 square that with being an 8? So I'm particularly curious to hear from Christian 8s.
What's with the selfie posting? Did we become r/infp?

Which e-reader to buy?
What I need:
- 7"
- Color
- Can highlight text it in
- Can make notes in it
- Can import books into it easily (I won't be buying any books from their stores)
- Supports pdf epub and mobi formats
- Will mostly read non-fiction and classics on it
Any suggestions?
I’m 26F and never exercised regularly. Where do I start?
I honestly don’t like to exercise and most of hobbies are sedentary, but recently I started to think that maybe I don’t want to die in my 40s and I’d probably be healthier if I was slightly thinner. The problem is I don’t know where to start, what to do and how much? I can’t go to the gym, honestly don’t have money for it, so if you could recommend something I could do without any/much equipment that would be preferable.
My goals are:
- losing weight (I’m 173cm tall, 71kg and my goal will be to reach and sustain the weight of 62kg)
- improving my cardiovascular health
- building muscle mass in my arms so that I have better chances in self-defense scenarios (you never know what might happen and I’ll take any advantage I can get)
Again, keep in mind, I’ve never exercised regularly before so I’m likely in terrible shape. Any advice?
