When do they start holding on?
My son is 5 1/2 months old, 30” and somewhere between 20 and 25 lbs. I got winded carrying him up the beach yesterday. What worse is he’s just dead weight at this age, makes no effort to hold on to mama. Someone recently pointed out that by this size they’re usually helping out to hang on. I love my not so little sack of potatoes but when do they start hanging on to the person carrying them?
Car seat recommendations for big babies >12 months?
My 5 1/2 mo old just grew out of his Chico Keyfit 30. We weren’t expecting this so early and we’re scrambling to figure out what’s next. I’m concerned that car seats for his size won’t be supportive enough for a baby who can’t sit up on his own yet. He also has hydrocephalus so his head is in the 99% range which means his neck control is also a little behind. I’m not sure if I’m overthinking this and any bigger car seat would be ok?
Edit: spelling
Good carriers for giant babies?
My son just turned 5 months old and we’re pretty sure he’s pushing 20-21 pounds. At his 4 month check up he was in 95%+ for everything. He’s got great head and neck control but I’ve read that they really shouldn’t forward face until a little older even though he’s outgrown our current carrier. Also as a bonus anything that would work well for a small mama, for reference he’s as tall as my entire upper half currently. Versatile carriers are welcome also though as my husband also likes to carry him and is the one he gets his height from lol. Thank you so much!!
Colorado Fly?
He was so neat :) But I have not been able to ID him.
Prop 126 makes DoorDashing alcohol a pain.
I haven’t doordashed alcohol this year but I had some DoorDash credits sitting around and didn’t feel like getting off my couch. Come to find out that in the new year Prop 126 had passed which makes liquor stores deliver their own alcohol, but you can still order off the app. Fine, cool.
Except none of these stores want to actually deliver. So they’ll accept your order and let it sit there until they close. They’ll also ignore your calls. Best part is that since they’ve “accepted” the order you need to jump through hoops with DoorDash support to get a refund. Also lost my DoorDash credits in the process.
Anyone else experienced this? Had better luck than me?
EDIT: I did not read google results very well. Prop 126 would have eliminated this problem but didn’t pass. My bad prop 126, I should not have slandered your good name.
