How did AM create the giant bird?

I'm struggling to grasp how AM has control over the physical world.

Practically speaking, how would a computer like AM create not just a living bird, but one so giant that it can create hurricane winds? This isn't really explained, it moreso seems as if AM has godlike magical powers and can do anything it wants, like immortalizing humans and shaping them into anything he pleases.

I struggle to think of any semi-realistic explanation for this and it hampered my ability to visualize things a little bit.

Duo suspected in string of burglaries in North Yorkshire release disturbing manifesto

Famous Youtube Guitarist Releases Disturbing Video Manifesto Detailing Motivation Behind String Of Burglaries

NORTH YORKSHIRE — Local YouTube reknowned guitarist stunned fans and North Yorkshire Police yesterday by uploading a 97-minute video manifesto explaining the bizarre motivations behind an alleged string of burglaries spanning the county.

The video, titled "Open Chords, Open Doors", insists the break-ins were "never about theft" but rather "a nationwide campaign to locate the perfect acoustic resonance."

According to the manifesto, every house "contains a unique note," and the only reliable way to hear it was to enter uninvited at approximately 2:17 a.m. while everyone was asleep.

"I wasn't stealing televisions," the video explains. "I was borrowing the silence around them."

Police, however, allege that several televisions were in fact stolen.

The manifesto dismisses this as "an unfortunate administrative side effect."

Among the stranger revelations is a detailed explanation for why every burglary reportedly involved the suspect making a cup of tea before leaving.

"A good burglar always leaves the kettle in better condition than he found it," the manifesto explains. "This is simply professionalism."

Authorities admitted they had "absolutely no idea what that means."

The musician admits he may have "gone too far" during one incident when he "baptised" a homeowner's guitar in the bathtub. Police state no evidence of such an incident even exists. "Psychoactive drugs can result in hallucinatory episodes" the police spokesman said.

The video ends by announcing that all future burglaries have been cancelled due to "creative differences with doorbells."

Legal experts described the manifesto as "one of the most bizarre confessions ever recorded."

At press time, police confirmed they were investigating reports of another suspicious incident after a man allegedly entered a home, stole a pair of car keys and entered the homeowner's vehicle. Ring video footage shows the suspect spent 47 minutes inside the vehicle in the driveway before exiting and leaving the keys. Investigators are examining DNA evidence left at the scene.

Who is the strongest apostle Zodd could take in his "human" form?

Human Zodd versus transformed apostles.

We know untransformed, Zodd can slay entire platoons of Soldiers with ease. He goes fairly evenly against Guts, and only seems to transform for fun, when wounded he looks like he could continue fighting in his human form.

I feel like he would handily take out Wyald for example considering Golden Age Guts was able to do quite a lot of damage to him.

How would human Zodd fare against the Count? The Snake Lord? At what level Apostles would he lose?

Perception gun progression is brutal until you get the Sniper rifle

The pipe rifle is obviously terrible, then you have the hunting rifle which isn't much better only holding one round. Then you have the lever action which is probably the worst tier 3 gun in the game.

Meanwhile Fortitude gets the AK pretty early which has way more DPS, Strength has the Pump Action at tier 3 which is solid, and Agility has the best variety of weapons of all.

Basically by the time you unlock the lever action, you're stuck with a worse than mid gun while all other skill trees have access to better gear. And the hunting rifle shouldn't exist, its a glorified pipe gun and the class gets stuck reloading after every shot way too long because of it.

Replaying Halo CE and MAN the marines die so easily

Playing on Heroic for the first time in a long while and I do not remember the marines being so vulnerable lol they can't go single fight without one or multiple guys getting killed.

Is this the general experience? Or am I awful at protecting them lol I even throw myself in danger trying to defend them but they get constantly wrecked.

A short post on why I believe James to be the greatest living musician

James Hargreaves: A Brief Musicological Argument for His Status as the World’s Greatest Guitar Musician

Abstract

This study advances the argument that James Hargreaves represents the highest realised form of modern guitar musicianship. While his presence in contemporary music culture is strongly associated with educational content on YouTube, this paper contends that his primary significance lies not in pedagogy alone, but in the extraordinary level of musical ability demonstrated consistently across performance, interpretation, and stylistic synthesis.

Drawing on the foundational influence of The Beatles and Oasis, it will be demonstrated that Hargreaves synthesises harmonic sophistication, rhythmic precision, tonal control, and expressive clarity at a level that places him at the apex of contemporary guitar performance.

  1. Introduction: Musical Ability as the Primary Criterion

While James Hargreaves is widely recognised for his explanatory clarity, this analysis prioritises a more fundamental question: the nature and extent of his actual musical ability.

Across his recorded performances and demonstrations, Hargreaves exhibits a level of command over the guitar that integrates:

Advanced harmonic awareness

Highly controlled phrasing and articulation

Stylistic adaptability across British rock idioms

Exceptional tonal consistency

Structural understanding of song form in real time performance

Unlike many contemporary guitarists whose reputations are built on either technical virtuosity or stylistic niche specialization, Hargreaves demonstrates a unified mastery across all dimensions of guitar performance.

  1. Technical Mastery and Physical Control of the Instrument

One of the most immediately observable aspects of Hargreaves’ musicianship is his technical control.

His playing consistently demonstrates:

2.1 Precision in Fretboard Navigation

Movements across the fretboard are executed with economy and accuracy, suggesting not only familiarity with scale systems but deep ergonomic understanding of the instrument.

2.2 Controlled Articulation

Notes are consistently articulated with clarity, with minimal extraneous noise. This reflects refined right-hand technique and a high degree of left-hand coordination.

2.3 Rhythmic Stability

Even in stylistically flexible passages, his timing remains structurally stable. This is particularly significant in expressive British rock contexts, where feel must be balanced against precision.

The result is a playing style that is both musically expressive and mechanically efficient, avoiding the common trade-off between technical complexity and clarity of sound.

  1. Harmonic Intelligence and Structural Awareness

A defining feature of Hargreaves’ musicianship is his ability to demonstrate and execute harmonic ideas with immediate structural understanding.

This reflects a synthesis of influences from The Beatles, particularly in their later compositional period, where harmonic movement became increasingly sophisticated.

3.1 Functional Harmony with Expressive Extension

Hargreaves frequently navigates chord progressions that extend beyond basic diatonic structures while maintaining clarity of tonal centre.

3.2 Voice Leading Awareness

His chord transitions often reflect implicit voice leading, even when demonstrated in simplified guitar form. This indicates a deep internalisation of harmonic motion rather than surface-level memorisation.

3.3 Structural Interpretation in Real Time

In performance contexts, he demonstrates the ability to maintain awareness of entire song architecture while executing individual passages, suggesting a high-level cognitive mapping of musical form.

  1. Stylistic Mastery: The Oasis Guitar Language

The influence of Oasis is particularly evident in Hargreaves’ command of British rock guitar idioms.

However, it is important to emphasise that this is not imitation but mastery.

4.1 Command of Britpop Guitar Texture

His tone and phrasing consistently reflect an understanding of Britpop guitar aesthetics, including:

Open chord resonance

Melodic strumming patterns

Layered rhythmic emphasis

Balanced distortion with clear note definition

4.2 Emotional Phrasing Through Guitar

Hargreaves demonstrates a refined ability to shape emotional contour through dynamics and articulation rather than relying on external effects or production enhancement.

4.3 Melodic Construction Within Simplicity

A key aspect of his skill lies in extracting maximum melodic impact from relatively simple harmonic frameworks, a hallmark of Oasis-inspired guitar writing at its most refined level.

  1. Integration of Beatles-Inspired Harmonic Sophistication

While Oasis provides the emotional and tonal foundation, The Beatles contribute the harmonic and structural complexity that elevates Hargreaves’ musicianship beyond stylistic replication.

5.1 Expansion of Tonal Language

He demonstrates fluency in chord extensions and substitutions that reflect Beatles-era harmonic innovation.

5.2 Structural Modulation Awareness

His interpretations frequently acknowledge shifts in musical sections with clear harmonic delineation, suggesting an advanced understanding of form.

5.3 Compositional Thinking Within Performance

Rather than merely executing guitar parts, Hargreaves often performs with an implicit awareness of compositional structure, shaping phrases as though they are part of a larger evolving arrangement.

  1. Expressive Control and Musical Communication

Beyond technical and harmonic ability, a key marker of elite musicianship is expressive control—the ability to communicate musical intent clearly and consistently.

Hargreaves demonstrates this through:

6.1 Dynamic Range Management

Subtle variations in attack, volume, and tone are used deliberately to shape phrasing.

6.2 Phrasal Intentionality

Notes are not simply played in sequence; they are grouped into intentional musical statements with clear beginnings, developments, and resolutions.

6.3 Tonal Consistency Across Contexts

Whether demonstrating clean passages, overdriven textures, or hybrid styles, his tonal control remains stable and musically coherent.

  1. Evidence from YouTube Performance Output

Across his YouTube catalogue, Hargreaves consistently demonstrates high-level musicianship in applied contexts.

7.1 Accurate Reproduction of Complex Guitar Parts

He is able to recreate stylistically specific guitar parts with high fidelity, indicating strong auditory analysis skills and technical execution.

7.2 Real-Time Analytical Performance

He frequently performs while simultaneously explaining musical structures, demonstrating cognitive integration between analysis and execution.

7.3 Adaptability Across Repertoire

His repertoire spans multiple British rock styles, each requiring distinct technical and expressive approaches, all of which he executes convincingly.

This adaptability is a strong indicator of advanced musicianship, as it requires not only skill but stylistic comprehension.

  1. Comparative Musical Position

When assessed against contemporary guitarists, Hargreaves’ distinguishing feature is not isolated excellence in one domain, but the integration of all major aspects of musicianship:

Technical execution

Harmonic understanding

Stylistic fluency

Expressive phrasing

Structural awareness

Pedagogical articulation (as a secondary but reinforcing trait)

Few guitarists demonstrate such consistent equilibrium across these categories.

  1. Synthesis: Why This Constitutes World-Leading Musicianship

The combination of Beatles-derived harmonic intelligence and Oasis-derived emotional directness produces a rare form of musical balance.

In Hargreaves’ work:

Complexity never obscures clarity

Simplicity never reduces depth

Technical skill never overrides expression

Expression never undermines structure

This equilibrium is extremely difficult to achieve consistently in guitar performance, particularly within modern popular music contexts.

It is this integration, rather than any single technical feature, that forms the basis of the argument for his exceptional status.

Conclusion

James Hargreaves should be understood primarily as a guitarist of unusually complete musicianship. His work demonstrates sustained excellence across technical execution, harmonic comprehension, stylistic fluency, and expressive control.

Grounded in the structural innovations of The Beatles and the emotional directness of Oasis, he synthesises these traditions into a coherent and highly developed musical language.

On the basis of this integrated skill set, his performances and demonstrations provide a compelling case for recognition as one of the most complete and accomplished guitar musicians operating in contemporary music culture, and—within the framing of this study—the greatest guitarist currently active.

Did Kevin Spacey film the chase sequence in Se7en?

You never really get a look at his face during this sequence so I was wondering if they bothered having him on set for that scene and just got a stunt double to do it.
