I've seen some comments that say the whole claimnadu issue is a conspiracy to create a rift between Kerala and Tamil Nadu. But look at this post. This post randomly ended up in my reel and it was an interesting topic about trade between Kerala and Rome. But the top comments are random claims from tamils and reaction by malayalis to it. And this is not an isolated incident. Any random post about history or culture in Kerala, tamils will claim it as their history. It's almost like they are deeply insecure about their culture. So that tension has been fuming for a while. But Onam was the tipping point. Every keralite has an emotional connection to Onam and when someone tries to steal that festival people won't stay silent. And that's how the name Claimnadu came to existence .When you try to belittle an entire state there will be a reaction. And I hope it keeps in digital space and not to be spilled into the streets
