Chaweng for one night (Friday): Ark Bar vs Elephant Beach vs LOVE Beach vs Lub d?

Hey all, I'm spending one night (Friday) in Koh Samui and want to be in Chaweng for the nightlife. I've narrowed it down to these 4:

  • Ark Bar Beach Resort
  • Elephant Beach Club
  • LOVE Beach
  • Lub d Samui

Has anyone stayed at any of these, and which would you pick for that night?

My biggest concern is noise. I want to be close to the action and go out, but I'd still like to actually get some sleep when I head back. Are some of these right next to the beach parties or clubs and noisy until sunrise, while others are quieter despite being close by? Or are all 4 basically the same thing?

If none of these are a good fit, is there another property you'd recommend within a few minutes' walk of the nightlife? Beachfront would be ideal.

Thanks in advance!

How can I book Singapore Airlines / Scoot flights with the velocity points?

Is the only option to transfer vel points to krisflyer miles and then use that on the native website, or is there a way to directly book Scoot flights using a portal within the Virgin website?

Thanks!

Singapore to Sydney (QF2) -- can I use the lounge and bring a friend in?

Bronze tier, Points Club Plus member and have 2 complimentary lounge passes.

With my friend both of us flying QF2; first of all is there even a lounge I can use in the Singapore airport, secondly if so can I bring a friend in by gifting him one of my lounge passes or otherwise?

Thanks

HELP Compulsory repayment credit less than total 2025 STSL payments?

Hey guys I was just going through my HECS and noticed that, as pictured, the 2025 HELP Compulsory repayment credit applied to my account, $2,679, is less than the total 2025 STSL payments I made... and I'm wondering shouldn't they be equal?

The second photo is my from June '25 payflip; $321 is the monthly June '25 payment whilst the $3,224 is the 24-25' financial year total.

Thanks!

Calum McFarlane on Palmer's England setback: "I think in life and in football, you need to take every setback as a positive. There's going to be lots of them - moments like this. And if you have the right mindset, you can turn it into a positive."

Well said I reckon; positive is Palmer will be able to rest this summer and come back stronger.
