more discreet raising energy techniques?

hey everyone!

so little question: I basically know how you can raise energy and the most common ways of doing so are chanting, drumming, dancing, meditating but how can you raise energy if you're in a place where you can't do that (broom closet witch) I haven't seen other ways that are more discreet. I've always used the phases of the moon which make it easier for me and I rarely go through intense émotions, I mean when I do spellwork.

my brain can't create spells???

hey!

so I've always had this problem ever since I started witchcraft and I thought my skills would improve and this problem wouldn't be a problem anymore.

I'm so lost and confused when it comes to spellcrafting. I bought and read the book spellcrafting by hiscock and I really loved it but I always struggle to apply what I read or hear. I know about correspondences, about different types of spells but I simply don't know how I can make spells.

All the spells I casted were candle spells because that's all I know and feel comfortable doing but after a few years I'm kind of tired of doing the same type of Magick. I heard of cord magick, spell jar, spells including poppets etc but it seems I can't get creative and craft spells of my own, it's like I have a blockage. I don't have many supplies so it doesn't help but I also know I don't need many tools to make effective spells. It's just that I feel like an armchair witch and I've learned a lot on correspondences, types of spells etc (for 4 years) and I still feel stuck and not able to do a spell that doesn't include a candle and a specific herb.

I don't know if this was clear, but I just feel stuck even after reading and learning a lot of info so if you have any advice I'll be more than happy to read about it.

(I wanted to add I never used spells I found in books or that weren't made by me because I'm simply not comfortable casting spells I didn't make as it feels souless to me)

not many herbs in my town

hey everyone

I was wondering how do I cast a spell if I don't have many different ingredients. I know most of the time people tell you it's fine to only work with what's around you but I barely have anything. I only have a few spices (the ones you buy for kitchen use) and I can get a few fresh herbs but that's it. I live in a place where I can't get fancy ingredients and all the spells I see online or in books have fancy ingredients and the most basic ones like rosemary, thyme or basil are missing and I feel like because it's too basic.

Anyway, as you can see I have a few ressources and I wanted to know if it's okay. Besides, I know that some herbs I could need for spells can't be found where I live and I think I cant find any replacement and as I don't have many tools, my spells can quickly run out of ingredients and I don't know if it's okay

anxiety in witchcraft

hey everyone!

so, people who have severe anxiety how do you make it work with your practice?

I've had severe anxiety for like a couple years and I've been trying to go back to my practice a few months ago and I feel like whenever I take a step forward, I take three steps back. For example: I always try to meditate at least once a day, to have a dedicated routine as I feel like my life lacks discipline etc but I often get very severe episodes and I can't do anything. So all the efforts I made like meditating for a week straight and gaining all the benefits of doing it every day is lost because of my episodes that make me stop my practice for days so I often have to start over.

I also want to add I often feel like my anxiety is taking over in my spellwork. I have a monotheistic religious background so whenever I cast spells I have anxiety and can't really tell if those are results of my workings or my imagination. For example, I made a protective amulet, I cleansed it beforehand and did my working but whenever I wear it I feel oppressed, it's a vague feeling but I know I shouldn't feel that way when I wear a protective amulet (it's a necklace I used to wear every single day and never felt weird while wearing it). What I'm trying to say is I feel way too anxious.

Anyway, I'm sure some of you deal with anxiety and can be a little hard to deal with it in witchcraft so how do you that?

flip phone japonais en France (aidez-moi please)

hello!

nokia 2660 flip issues

hey everyone,

i was wondering how many of you had issues with the Nokia 2660 flip? I bought it last year but didn't fully use it until now. I realized I couldn't personalize my ringtone when I try to apply one and select OK nothing happens and it shows me I can select the file for sim 1, 2, 3, 4 but the phone can only have 2 sims. I find this super annoying as the original ringtones are super bad and they're also super loud so whenever my phone rings I feel like my alarm was on.

I also put the number of my voicemail in the settings of my phone so it can be easier and more practical for me but it never seems to stay because every time I use the feature it says that no number was saved.

Anyway, this phone seemed like the best option for me because no many flip phones are available where I live. While I wanted to maybe get another phone because I thought it was a super fragile and a not pretty flip phone but now I'm really thinking of getting another one as I find it not really 'practical'

spirit flight, will I ever be able to do it?

hey

okay so I'm currently reading a broom at midnight by Horne, and I'm wondering is it actually possible to achieve spirit flight?

like I'm actually doing the exercises, and before moving forward I'm trying exercise 1 and I actually have to be in the dark with one lighted candle and play with the shadows until I actually feel the urge to move in the dark and sense something, Horne says even you're not naturally gifted you'll sense something. I remember always dancing in the dark with some music on and I'd sometimes feel a presence or something around very suddenly, without any warning but I never thought of it as a special thing until I read about the exercise. Anyway, I've tried it twice and nothing really happened even if I know twice is not enough to actually feel something but I feel like astral projection, spirit flight will only be topics I'll read about but never really practice because I only read stories of people that are naturally gifted and have been doing those things ever since they were a child but I never read about people that actually learn out of nothing. Because while/after doing the exercise, I only felt like a strong flow of energy in my left hand, and it was so strong it kept stinging and it still does but that's it, I don't know if that's how I'll actually sense something.

Anyway! I'd love to hear about your personal experience!!

black hair dye, orange color and then what

hey everyone so I have a question:

i dyed my hair black for like 2 years and decided to remove it. I bleached my hair twice and ended up with a very orange color, in some parts it looks light, but on the ends it looks darker anyway my results are pretty good and I'm pretty happy with how it looks, but I really have to get my hair blonder as I'd like to dye it purple and I bleached a strand test yesterday and it actually got a little bit lighter but no real change compared to the other times so I'm afraid my hair is not going to look blonder.

when should I dispose of my spell ingredients?

hey!

so I have a question, every time I'm crafting a spell I keep asking myself the same question: what will I do when I have to dispose my spell ingredients?

I've read different posts on the subject but I'm still lost, I live with my parents and I'm a broom closet witch so whenever I do something it's when they're not around and it's really hard to go outside and dispose of the remaining of the ingredients, I also use salt in my working which is not nature friendly I think I can throw those in the trash but how do I know when?

when I cast a spell I never know when I should dispose of the ingredients, some people say when it gets moldy but what if I use herbs and salt? this is something that really confuses me and I often end up not doing the working because I don't know what to do with the ingredients.

I can't connect to nature

okay so I feel like I can't connect to nature because I have an extreme fear of bugs. I don't really like summer but this year I decided to overcome this and spend more time outside so I can connect more with nature as it can be something positive in witchcraft but every time I try to go outside I simply can't relaxe because of bugs, whenever a bug comes near me I go back inside and wait a few seconds to go back but after a few times I eventually give up and go inside. There's also this domain I really like, there're so many trees, a lake etc and I love going there but I don't stay long because of all the bugs and even when I go near the lake, I end up leaving because of other animals (yes I'm also afraid of animals, I feel very uncomfortable around them) and I really wanted to spend time with trees spirit as it's something near my house. I wish I could meditate outside, garden or simply sit in silence to feel the trees or plants energy but I can't do that, I usually wait sunset as there's less bugs but even at night I'm scared because of spiders, moths and bats.

As you can see, I feel so disconnected to nature and it's such a waste because I feel like witchcraft relies a lot on nature and I wish I could be that type of person but I obviously can't and I've always been scared of bugs and animals so are any of you in the same position and how do you deal with it?

i sense my own energy but not others'

hey!

i had a little question, I know this is a common topic but I just feel stuck even after different tryouts.

I can feel my own energy perfectly, I can move it but when it comes to external energy I don"t sense anything. I tried sitting outside when the moon was full but couldn't feel anything. I tried to do this exercise, when you have different crystals and you try to sense its energy or get anything maybe a certain feeling but I don't sense anything, there's a blockage. I remember casting a few spells and they almost worked, it was like something was off like it almost worked or the spell was too weak to actually work properly that's why I started questioning my own energy sensing skills. I just don't know what I can do to actually be able to sense outside energy because I've been trying and I haven't seen any improvement.

spells in beginner books

hey!

okay so I don't know if this has been already discussed but I couldn't find anything so here I am:

I've read different beginner books and in all of them the author gives us spells they made to perform and I really dislike it, I've never liked spells made by others and most of the time the spells in those books contain ingredients that are almost impossible to find for me.

so I just feel like skipping so many pages of some books because authors mix some information with spells we should do, it's like they give us examples but not the information on how we should do it by ourselves if that makes sense.

I'm reading mastering witchcraft by huson and I found myself skipping some parts because I don't resonate with those spells made and I feel like most beginner books have spells we "should" do.

it's not really a question, I'm just wondering if any of you also feels that way because I feel like many books don't tell you how to do something, they just give you what they did and that's it.

any small and cool flip phone?

heyyy

i was wondering, I know this question has already been asked but I couldn't find any clear answer, if there's any flip phone available in Europe that is not as huge as the ones commercialized. I have the Nokia 2660 flip and it feels so huge, the old ones looked so cool and practical but most of them don't work anymore where I live so buying a vintage phone is not possible for me... so do any of you have a dumb phone that is not as big as the ones I see online, like a bit more practical and that might look cooler because I don't seem to find anything :,(

any good mp3 player because the ones I bought suck

hey everyone I hope you're doing ok!

so I have a question I decided to switch to a flip phone last year for a few months and I bought an mp3 player and I must say the ones I bought stopped working after a few weeks.

I first bought an AGPTEK on Amazon because it was cheap, the sound is not so good but it's okay because it cost me like 25€ but it still works! and then I decided to upgrade it to a y1 and it looked so nice exactly like an old ipod but it started crashing everytime I used it until it eventually stopped working.

I thought of buying an ipod but the ones I see are super expensive and the ones that are reasonable don't have a lot of memory and of course we can't put an SD card.

So that's mostly why I stopped using my flip phone, because I couldn't play my music anymore, and as I'd love to use it again do you have any recommendations of good mp3 player that actually works?

thanks to anyone answering!

how to create more complex spells?

hey everyone!

I've always wondered how does one create more complex spells I know that different techniques and types of spell work exist but how do you make more complex spells like I often see people using lemon and pins for a spell or they use salt and they draw crossroads, some people make jars that contain all the negative energy people try to send them and I feel like it's more advanced that what I do and I'd like to get there but how does one know how to create those spells? I've always made my own spells but remained simple for example I often use a candle and herbs that match the correspondences but as I said I'd like to challenge myself and do things differently and except correspondences and reading about what spell bags or knot Magick are etc I just don't know how people end up making things you usually don't see written in books (I must admit I'm the type of person that needs clear instructions to actually do something by myself that's why I ask so many questions lol)

I'm sorry if my explanations are not very clear I hope some of you will understand what I mean anyway advice, tips, personal experience are welcomed!!

is this divination or some psychological experience

hey everyone!

I need you to tell me what you think: ever since I woke up this morning I can smell dirt and can feel the weird sensation of having dirt in my mouth or what I imagine it to be because I've never had dirt in my mouth and I have pictures of graveyards that pop up in my head which aligned with the whole dirt thing.

So I'm just wandering if there's anything witchy about it or if it's just some psychological thing. I've often experienced things like that randomly smelling and sensing things in my mouth even if those things are not linked to anything I'm doing and sometimes I have images that pop up as well that kind of illustrate what's going on, anyway I'm just wondering if I'm into something like it's a psychic skill so I can follow that trail or I'm being delusional lol

thanks for anyone answering I'm just lost haha
