US food makes it worse

My wife has gp and usually has pain and nausea after she eats anything. Lasts about an hour; sometimes longer. She’s had several bowel obstructions that are typically resolved with a NG tube inserted for 2-3 days.

We just returned from 2 weeks in Europe. For 2 weeks, she had no pain and no nausea. Her GI doc said, “no wonder; there is too much garbage in our food.”

She rarely eats processed food and tries to eat clean and healthy food. Having said that, can the food we buy in the US be THAT bad? Even the “healthy” stuff? Her pain free symptoms has us seriously considering moving to Europe just for this reason.

Is there ANY plan or hope for the future?

The train sets they’re deploying are cool but severe lateness and delayed trains/schedules are ruining everything! EVERYTHING! Does corporate Amtrak have any plan in motion for improvement? Or will this continue forever?

ThreeOaks opinion?

Are there any residents of ThreeOaks here who want to share their opinion on living there? I know that it’s BRAND NEW and doesn’t have a lot of residents yet, but those of you who are there, do you get a good vibe that all the amenities and the activities, trails, pool, social clubs will be great, average, etc?? Excited about how it’ll grow into the development you’re looking for? (63 yo thinking of buying there)

Turn signal indicators covered by steering wheel

GM/Optiq engineers: if you’re reading this, can you please make the on-screen turn signal indicators closer together? For me, they are so far apart that my steering wheel covers them up and I can’t see them and can’t tell if they’re still blinking. Typically, at the 11 and 1 o’clock positions.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Am I taking the proper supplements for 52M? Which ones am I missing?

If you could only take 4-5 supplements for energy, sexual health, mental clarity, which would you choose? I’ll start: D3/K2 combo, B complex, zinc, magnesium, and C. Any other recommendations?

Hook up and leave

We’re all adults. We’ve worked hard and have “earned the right” (in whichever way you want to define that). Am I the only one who just wants to have some great sex with someone equally enthusiastic (single or married, who really cares) and then go our separate ways with a new spring in our step? Well, for a few days at least. 😁

Any improvements on the horizon?

Does anyone know of any Amtrak improvements planned in the next 1-3 years that will improve customer experience such as: train timeliness, enforcement of quiet car rules, better food, etc?

Adirondack Line

Looking for opinions: if I were to take the Adirondack line from NY in October what might be the best (walkable, quaint downtown near station, BnB for overnight, etc) to stop if I didn’t want to go all the way to Montreal?

Does anyone know anything about this Trilogy ThreeOaks 55+ community being developed? Shea Homes is the builder. To me, it looks like a well thought-out design concept, on the small side but with some really nice amenities. Any opinion on quality of homes and lot sizes?
