I applied to be a sales associate at my local dollar tree, I noticed on Google it was listed as "urgently hiring" for my location. I had an interview last year in February and was told I’d only get about 10-15 hours a week. Are the hours the same or is there a way I could get more?

Is it a crime to send a slightly altered job offer email letter to a landlord prior to filling out the application? I’m currently unemployed and trying to relocate out of state. I have an old job offer letter I was just going to change the date it was sent to me to make it look recent. I already have a job lined up for me but I don’t want my family to know where I’m working as they plan to come with me to view the apartment. But is it technically a crime to send the altered letter to the landlord before I even apply for it?

I have an old job offer email I was planning on showing to the realtor but I was debating on altering the date on it and using that. The only downside is the realtor was asking about the salary and start date for the job which the offer email doesn’t state (I don’t think I’ve ever received an offer letter showing salary/start date). I told him i would be starting whenever I get there as there wasn’t a deadline date set - other than being there before September. I also told him I’d be making $18.50 and it’ll go up to $19 in January, which isn’t true. The job I’ll actually be working starts at $16 an hour. Would this be bad to do? I just don’t want to get in any legal trouble.

Is biking throughout eastern Dearborn from home to work and back doable if the distance is 15-20 minutes away by bike. Do people do this regularly? Are winters difficult? Any help is appreciated as I don’t drive.

So I’m working on ideas on beginning the process of starting my debut album, I’m in my mid 20s. I’ve always admired Latin jazz, I plan to blend jazz with Brazilian genres such as samba funk, samba jazz, Bossa nova and even blend in some tango, plus even sing a few entirely in Portuguese. It won’t be a fast uptempo jazz album. Would there be a market to promote this? I’m based in the US, I’m also a white American. I obviously know the album won’t blow up and become huge, but I’d love to try to perform at some small jazz clubs in NYC or LA or even do jazz festivals during the summer.

It got me thinking would they work if it was connected to a Mac mini or studio? And by work I mean use WiFi and be able to browse with no issues. (FYI be used as a monitor essentially)

I’m debating on getting back into lifeguarding due to me moving to a much bigger city. I was a lifeguard previously from 2018-19. I’m now in my mid 20s. I figured maybe getting back into it for a little bit before I find a better job would make sense and if I struggle finding a job I’ll have lifeguarding to lean back on. The only thing that has me nervous is the 200 yard swim laps, when I first did back in 2018 I got very “pukey” and wanted to get sick, mind you our pool was very big (our classes were done at our pool) and the instructor was our high school teacher who was always very lazy. I don’t believe she even measured our pool she just told us to swim 10 laps, mind you we didn’t even finish 10 we only did like 6-7 before she got bored and wanted to move on. Are there any ways not to be so nervous regarding the swim test or even advice/tips on not feeling like you want to throw up?
