Ordered new uniforms, but forgot to pay for the order.

As the title states. I ordered new crew gear, but forgot to pay for the gear when it arrived in the store. My manager said I could pay "whenever", but I'm worried, as it's been a couple weeks since they arrived at my store. I'm assuming I can just pay for them at the POS still, given that my manager still has the receipt from the order?

Training in Drive Thru in a couple weeks, what to expect?

As the title states.

In a couple weeks, I am training in DT after fulfilling my 80 hours on FC. Looking at my schedule, I see I'm scheduled to clock in under "MEET" each shift, and I start with DTAcc, then DTExpo (self explanatory, I think?) and then the remaining 3 shifts are The Hole. Question for you all; What are all these positions for DT and what can I expect for each training shift?

Zone completion

Hey y'all!

Back again with a question for Crew! I have been at Cane's for a month now, and have 79.7 hours logged on FC so far. An hour into my shift tomorrow, I will hit the 80 required for FC. Question is this: Once I hit that 80 hours, am I able to mark that zone as "completed" with management and begin training in DT or Kitchen on my next shift? Or do I have to complete more shifts on FC before I can request training in a new zone?

I LOVE my job!

Hey Caniacs,

Just wanted to say that I started last week, and I'm already on my 5th shift. But, I genuinely love my job. I wake up excited to go to work, and all my coworkers/managers are absolutely wonderful people to work with. Idk if it's just the honeymoon period or what, but this is BY FAR the best job I've ever had.

Getting used to Call Outs when working FC

I just started a few days ago at my local Cane's, and so far, I am LOVING it. It's such a nice change of pace, and I'm getting the hang of everything on FC. However, I struggle with Call Outs still, as I'm mainly nervous to do it, or I just feel like it takes away from the customer service if I just randomly call out how many fingers we need for the order. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get less anxiety regarding this, or will it just come to me naturally over time?

Workday issue

Hey guys, I have an issue with work day. I can't seem to open or log into the app on my phone for whatever reason, it asks for an organization ID when I try to set up the account but that doesn't make any sense. Anybody have any tips or suggestions on how to get into workday so I can track my time card and stuff?

Hinge ban not lifted.

Hello everyone,

I was banned on Hinge ages ago, and I've tried to get my ban lifted to no success a couple times. I've Googled and searched the sub, but that hasn't been helpful.

I currently use an Android device, but am going to be switching to Apple soon. My question is two fold; First, would switching device ecosystems enable me to create a new Hinge account, provided I use a different Apple ID and phone number? Second, if I were to upload brand new photos, would I be at risk of being banned on the new account as well?

Basically, I really want to create a Hinge account again, because it seems to be the only app I actually had any semblance of success on. Thanks in advance!

Question about positions in FC?

Hello again,

Thank you for all your help with helping me understanding various position acronyms as a new hire! My second training shifts have come out, and it appears I will be training on DinEx for two shifts, and I'm unsure what that abbreviation means?

Deeply unsatisfied with job and money flow.

Hello Pov-Fi,

I have been a long time lurker, but have recently found myself full of doubt regarding my job prospects/money flow coming in as a result of said job.

For context, I am an early 30s male with a Bachelor's degree, living in an adequate COL area (not very expensive, but average). Recently, I got hired for a position that pays $14 per hour, however, there is no guarantee I will get 32 or even 40 hours a week due to business needs.

I am struggling HEAVILY with the thought that I don't know how to make ends meet with that fluctuating labor need, or with the fact that I don't have an emergency fund built up, or even a vehicle at the moment (which probably severely handicaps me with regards to a higher paying job etc)...

I just am unsure what next steps I can take to get over this hump, in order to build up an emergency fund, and to a lesser extent, feel satisfied with compensation.

P.S. I have worked construction jobs before, but have recently injured myself multiple times doing that scope of work, so I think it is my body telling me to slow down.

Just got my schedule after orientation.

Is it normal to have your first training shifts two weeks out from orientation? Also what is DinR notation on HS Teams?

Orientation and training. What will it look like?

Hello again,

I have my orientation from 9-11:30am on Wednesday. First question is: Will orientation really take 2 and a half hours? And secondly, what will my subsequent training days look like? How many positions are there in store, and will I be cross trained on every one?

Applied, had interview, conditional job offer, what's next?

Hello Caniacs!

I applied to my local Raising Cane's a week ago, got an interview scheduled for Thursday last week, then received the conditional job offer email on this past Monday. The background check came back clear as of Thursday, but I have not received an orientation email or text yet. Two things; How long does it usually take to get the orientation stuff setup text or email once the background check is clear, and two... Should I be worried at all, or do I pretty much have the job in the bag?

Question about upgrading vs switching to No contract?

Hello everyone,

As the title states, I am seeking advice/opinions on the above question. I currently have a Google Pixel 9a, but it has been getting slower and more bogged down as time has gone on. I have an offer to upgrade my device from my mobile carrier, but am unsure if that's the wisest decision, or if it would be better to find a No Contract carrier, purchase a phone and service from them?

Used Cars in Cedar Rapids

I am wondering if anyone has any leads on potential used car dealerships that are able to work with less than stellar credit? I am currently looking into getting employed again, and most of the places I've applied to are actively hiring and I've had 2 out of 5 potential interviews already completed this week. However, I know for a fact (after having to use it for so many years at this point), that public transportation is very hard to schedule around, and I'm open to any available hours at this point at potential employers.

Therefore, I am wondering if anyone knows of any used car dealerships that 1. Work with less than stellar credit, and (potentially) 2. no down payment (though I would have an offer of hire letter from an employer were I to get offered a position, so I'd guarantee income coming in).

Another aside, I would like to avoid Byrider, as they require 10 references, and I do not have that many references available to me.

Treatment center does not work with my insurance, and all other treatment centers have half a year wait-list.

Hello,

I was referred to a clinic after discussing the treatment with my psychiatrist last week, and due to my significantly worsening symptoms over the past month (but in reality, since a SS episode in January, where it's been a struggle), she requested urgent evaluation.

However, the first clinic she referred me to called today and told me they don't work with my insurance, and the second clinic she referred me to last week told me they have a long wait-list. I feel so defeated, as the only other treatment center is at the University Hospital, and when I inquired this afternoon, they told me the clinic was permanently closed.

I was looking at this treatment to finally and hopefully help with the symptoms, etc that I've been struggling with, and been surfing this sub for the last week, gathering as much info as I could.. Now, I just feel defeated, as I also know I'm not a candidate for TMS, due to a double neck fusion, and having metal plates in your head or neck automatically disqualifies you from that specific treatment.

(For additional context, I have tried group therapy, multiple medications with no improvement over the past 4 years, and I'm just getting worse every week it feels like...) I guess I'm just frustrated and feeling very hopeless right now, and just want to vent.

Potential new user of vSeeBox. Seeking advice?

Hello everyone!

I got recommended a vSeeBox by a friend of mine, and have been trying to gather as much research as possible about this. A couple of questions I have that I have not been able to answer via Google searches etc: Do you need a subscription to an IPTV service to view live TV on a vSeeBox? Also, I see TONS of recommendations for using a VPN (I already have a Proton subscription), but I'm wondering if it's totally necessary for the vSeeBox?

Thank you for all your help, as I have been surfing this sub for the past day, and I see so many GREAT reviews, and they help me understand how much of an upgrade this purchase will be!

Money subliminals you SWEAR by, also tips on consistency?

Hello all,

I am posting again in hopes of finding suggestions/recs on money subliminals you all SWEAR by? Most of the posts that I see are years old or whatever, or have outdated suggestions... Additionally, I am struggling HEAVILY with consistency. Over the past 3 weeks, I have switched my playlist and subs I listen to every day it feels like. And I know that consistency and repetition are VITAL to a subliminal's success... So, I am also seeking tips/advice on how to stay consistent with one's playlist. Thank you all so much in advance, and happy MANIFESTING!

Barbershops?

Hello fellow CR folks,

I am 32 years old, and have a hairline that goes all the way back to 1925 (basically it's VERY bad), and I've had comments about getting it all shaved and going completely bald. Therefore, I am seeking recommendations on proper barbershops that would be able to accommodate such a need? I'm not talking a buzz cut, I'm talking bald bald, like Mr. Clean. Thanks!

Unsure what to do

Hello everyone,

I am 32, and my hairline is pretty bad. I also have a receding hairline, but I'm trying to keep my hair for some unknown reason. I am thinking about going bald, but unsure if I should just take the plunge fully?
