170k starting position, May 2024. Proceeds from selling condo after losing job to pay off other debts. Most of the gains came from 2 all ins, the second time with leverage. My reasoning was I'm going to have to work until I'm old anyway regardless of what happens so let's swing for the fences and try to win my freedom. Yes I realize I'm a statistical anomaly hence the title of the post.

Cashed out 33% of TNZ position in March at $65.35 to buy house, some toys, and to help family. Got bored in July-August so I did some swing trading, $42k profits. Following through on the plan from my last post in one of the most esteemed investing communities on reddit lol, I "diversified" and now have a 2 stock portfolio. I continue to hold the positions because I believe they are rapid growth companies that will outperform the indexes in the near future. I could be wrong though, time will tell.

House I bought one month ago was flooded multiple times by 2 freak, half a century storms in a week.

The good news is my BIL called in a few favors and insurance will cover it, otherwise I'd be out tens of thousands. I owe him bigly lol. Edit: just wanted to add that I'm one of the lucky ones. Some people are standing knee deep in sewage water. City declared state of emergency after the storms. 100s of homes affected, even the mayor got flooded.

Bad week for the TNZ bears and doomers

War is over, it will never recover, going to $30, blah blah blah. For those following the stock, One Dyas hit a monster well which netted Tenaz 5,500 boed of production. That's right, their production just increased 33% overnight from one well, excluding others in the drill campaign. I suspect when financials come out in August this will be revealed along with updated guidance. What's amazing is that this is only the beginning of a multi year drilling campaign, who knows how many wells like this they hit because where there is smoke there is fire.

Instead of crying, you should have been buying lol. Back to $60+ quicker than you can say cat in a hat.

I did it! Ontario, Canada $1.16M - 5.64%

Corner ravine house with a riverview out from front, literally a stones throw. Nice house, love the privacy, but it was such a pita going through the searching, buying, and moving in process. Never again lol.

This car is so much fun!

This former garage queen, which I acquired two months ago with only 3,500km on the odometer, now has 10,000kms! She's free from her prison cell and is out seeing the world now and when I drive her hard she never disappoints lol 😉

Sure I could have gotten a faster car for the money but it's not about the speed. It's about the uniqueness and style as I've only seen 2 of these in real life and I live in a big city! Hell, I've seen more Lambos on the road than I have Z4s.

Now all I need to is find a winter car that's just as fun. Snow sucks!
